Thea from Royal Thai is the sweetest, kindest most engratiating host, always welcomes with a beautiful smile, the food is delicious the atmosphere is serene and depending if you like spicy, Royal Thai can light you up if you so desire authentic Thai with a great kick! Highly recommend the Pad Pak with beef ( #4 spice scale) and the chicken satay. Delicious, I make it a regular stop once a week for lunch. Thank you Thea

I ordered the fresh spring rolls with chicken. They sliced up part of a chicken breast and put it on the outside of a spring roll rather than other Thai restaurants that I’ve had where they slice it, Finley and put it inside the spring roll The Tom Kha soup was ok. It did not have as much vegetables as I anticipated in the soup was sweet. Never had Tom Kha sweet or with tomatoes in it had to ask for extra mushrooms, thankfully, as there were not very many mushrooms, even with Asking forextra mushrooms. Although this could be the complication when you order from door, – As I could not get a Thai restaurant in Anchorage to order and deliver by them, every Thai restaurant that I contacted you had to order through DoorDash, which you have to place an order online very unsatisfied once again could be the complication with DoorDash

I had pad kee mao delivered so I can't say anything about service or atmosphere. It was just ok, I've had so much better and the portion size was laughably small. At most a $12 amount of food for $19. It only half filled the to go container and had the least amount of noodles I've ever paid for. . Not great to spend $19 on a vegetarian noodle dish and still be hungry afterward, that should never happen. I definitely wouldn't go back.

I ordered Tom Kha soup through a delivery service while I was sick — my first time ordering from Royal Thai. Not only was it the best Tom Kha I’ve ever had, but they also included a kind handwritten note wishing me a speedy recovery, along with green tea bags.
That thoughtful gesture truly made my day. I’m enjoying the tea now while resting, and I’ll definitely be ordering from Royal Thai again in the future. Thank you for going above and beyond!

Owned and operated by Thai owners, offers authentic food with no frills. They also own the tea place next door. We had Thai Tea, Moo Ping(BBQ pork), crispy pork fried rice (it’s so good to the point that we had to order extra one to take home), Yum Woon Sen, and Pad See Ew. Overall everything is great. The restaurant is small it’s a quick service. Plenty of parking in this small plaza.
If you’re looking for a cozy, family-style restaurant with amazing food, warm atmosphere, and top-notch service this is the place! I came in at 8:31, just one minute after the kitchen closed at 8:30, and they still welcomed me in. I truly appreciated that and didn’t order anything extra, out of respect for their closing time.
Special thanks to the blonde-haired waitress—she was incredibly friendly and attentive. I actually wanted to order some takeout too, but didn’t want to trouble them after hours. I’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend! Hopefully next time I’ll get to try the mango sticky rice too

My 1st time trying this place, the syor fried chicken cashew & crab lagoons were great. Shrimp fried rice, fried egg rolls & pad thai was ok. Egg flower soup over cooked (they said you cannot over cook soup, which you can). I refused to pay for something I wasn't eating so they told me I was allowed to come back.
