It had been a number of years since we had been to The Rustic Goat. Their food has always been very good. I do miss that they no longer have gluten free pizza. I had the airline chicken and my husband had the stroganoff and they were both excellent. It is pricey but the food, service, and ambience were exceptional. My only complaint would be my mashed potatoes were cold because the plate was so cold.
Cool atmosphere, great customer service, and the food was just fair. The nachos was full of flavors, well balanced with toppings and flavors (it was our favorite). The kale salad for my taste was weak: not enough zest and ingredients. The Cacio e Pepe pizza for my taste did not have enough black pepper and the cheese mixture was pretty blend. Great idea for the pizza flavor though! It's a pretty unique place, so I will be back.
Waited till our 3rd recent visit to provide a review. Local, familiar with the local food scene. Partner and I have been very happy with each experience. First off, I can say that the Beer service is the best in the city. Beer selection is excellent and served icy cold, in child glass with perfect carbonation.
