My coworkers and I order often from here. Love the food and hospitality.

Rainy-day comfort achieved! I had the tempura udon. The springy noodles in a soothing broth with tender fish cakes and a crunchy side of shrimp + veggie tempura (sweet potato, zucchini, mushroom, broccoli—so good) was so tasty. My partner’s bulgugi came in a generous portion; he wished for a bit more flavor but still cleaned the box and called the miso soup “perfect.” We split a milk tea that hit the spot. The place isn’t very big, but it feels cozy, has quick service, and an easy pick-me-up on a cold, wet day.

This is the best oriental food ever. Big portion sizes and they have the best strawberry cheesecake. Ryuu bowl is my favorite place in Alaska to eat at

40 minute wait for food but was very good. Bulgogi bowl had no sauce but the Teriyaki bowl did. Great for lunch if you got time.

I ordered through Grubhub from here but let me tell you. Presentation was IMMACULATE. My salmon and noodle bowl were amazingly delicious and plenty warm on the noodles.
I kinda wished I would’ve gone in person. Definitely recommend

First time and most likely last. Portions are good, but no flavor at all. I ordered the Bulgogi Bowl and very, very disappointed. The rice has more flavor than the meat! The menu says marinated. What do they marinate the meat in? Water? For $17 I expected better.

Ryuu roll (they even made it without avocado), miso soup and Japanese matcha cheesecake

The portions were big, but that's where me being impressed ends. My short ribs in my short ribs bowl was very salty and Definitely did not taste authentic. The mixture of fat and meat was good though. The vegetables were obviously frozen then steamed. The prices were quite high for the quality of food. Service was average, unsure why a tip was an option when it's just a cashier/dishwasher and I assume the cook is paid based on the prices. There really isn't any seating except for a few counter seating and their counter seating gives no impression of being welcoming.

This is my fifth time ordering from Ryuu Bowl and I’m just always very pleased. The sushi in my opinion is some of the freshest and tastiest this side of town and the quality of everything is consistent. I order the same thing everytime (Mt.Fuji, Miso, and usually a Milk Tea) because it’s just that flavorful and delicious. My order is always ready on time or sooner!
