I think the place has a lot of potential. The staff was friendly. I ordered the chicken parm and the avocado salad so I can only speak on that. The lighting was very bright, not a very cozy warm feel. They could probably dim the can lights a little to create a nicer mood. The avocado salad was excellent. However I was hopeful for the chicken parm unfortunately it was not good at all. It was very spicy, the sauce was not freshly made marinara sauce. It was like a canned spicy Mexican enchilada sauce. Secondly thea cheese should have been fresh mozerella melted on the chicken itself, but it was not. It was melted Mexican cheese on a pan slid on to your chicken at the table. No bueno. It was garnished with some kind of micro-herb not Italian basil. The fettuccine was over cooked. It should be al dente. The chicken by itself was cooked decently, just the rest of the ingredients fell apart. Guys please take my advice: classic chicken parm = top to bottom: fresh basil, melted FRESH mozzarella, San Marzano tomato sauce (garlic, olive oil, minced onion, sea salt, a little red pepper and sugar to reduce acidity), breaded fried chicken, Al dente pasta. Keep it simple. Just watch a YouTube on how to make authentic chicken parm adopt that recipe and I’ll come back and rewrite this review. Goodluck.

We had a fantastic experience at Saint Coyote! The best part was definitely the service—both the owner and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which really made the evening feel special.

The food was excellent across the board: flavorful, beautifully plated, and with generous portion sizes. The Copper River salmon was perfectly cooked, the salads were fresh and vibrant, and the carrot cake was the perfect sweet finish. Everything we ordered was delicious.

Parking and seating were easy and quick, which always makes the experience better. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable, and the menu has a great variety with something for everyone. Overall, this was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Anchorage. We’ll absolutely be back!

I went to this restaurant twice this week. I’m from out of town and loved it so much I went back again. My boyfriend had the salmon and said it was the best salmon he’s ever had. I had the coconut prawns and halibut and I loved it, we also had the crume brule for desert and it was wonderful just like the ones I like on our cruise ship. I haven’t had a bad meal from this restaurant, I’d highly recommend it.

Amazing Steak and risotto was fair. Only negative was the atmosphere. The kitchen had music bumping rock and yet the bar and restaurant had GREAT music playing that was disrupted by the kitchen jamming out. Having two different music genres was annoying as hell. Service was polite and friendly.

Second time here, I feel that this place is a hidden gem! The wild mushroom risotto is amazing! Everything that we had was excellent. Service was great, fast, and friendly.

The food has gone downhill terribly in recent months. We got the rib eye appetizer and it came with gross, under seasoned smallest bits of steak (maybe 3 tiny pieces per skewer) for $18 and also the smallest chicken wings that were over done. Drinks were not very good either. We thought it was a fluke but went again and my pork chop dinner was awful, thinly sliced over fried pork chop that was 1/3 bone. They were great about a year ago, not sure if management or cooks have changed.

The food seem to be purchased from Costco. Everything except for the fresh salad was frozen and rather tasteless. The eggplant Parmesan was the worst I’ve ever eaten.

Excellent friendly staff. Clean nice looking interior.
Unfortunately the food is severely lacking. The zucchini cheese sticks sounded interesting, but were just boring.
The coyote burger deserves recognition as the worst burger in Anchorage. When the staff came by and asked how it was, I demonstrated by picking up the burger and knocking on the rock hard bun. I thought about taking the {allegedly} wagyu patty home for my dog but he's a good boy and doesn't deserve punishment. The staff did take the burger off our bill.
