“We found this restaurant by accident. Our mom and aunt wanted pasta, but they wanted to be somewhere quiet. My brother googled and found this place. At first we thought we were at the wrong address since we didn’t see a sign. But we peaked in and we were met by the owner who asked us to take a seat. Service was fast, the food was amazing! And talk about a great salad bar with everything you would want on a salad with house made dressings. Everyone in the family ordered something different, from a mushroom burger to spaghetti and Greek pizza. The servings were so generous two people could eat or you will have leftovers. Oh, and we were even introduced to the owners daughter. It was a nice evening and has quickly become one of our favorite places to eat.“

“Sweet Caribou is my go to for amazing, artisan sandwiches and salads in Anchorage. They also have amazing desserts with their handmade macarons being their signature item. They are always delicious and the range of available flavors is always changing. I have also utilized their delivery service and the orders are always on time and packaged perfectly. Finally, you are not going to find a nicer group of employees who not only remember my name and order, but always go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. I cannot recommend this cafe/bakery highly enough!“

“Great restaurant and even better since being taken over by new owners. Classic dishes like Vegan High Protein Wrap as delicious as ever, delicious soups of the day, and nice big portions. Everything tastes so nutritious and satisfying, fresh ingredients and great flavor. Really nice staff as well. Their smoothies are excellent. Great spot with food that makes you feel good. Love a place with kale on the menu 💚💚💚“

“My coworker talked about Xalo's all week so of course I had to treat myself.

She recommended the birria tacos, California burrito, and Mexican Caesar salad.

I got the birria tacos on the first trip. Definitely the best birria tacos I've ever had. They were the perfect amount of greasy deliciousness. Highly recommend. I got the strawberry horchata because why not. It was different. Happy I tried it but I'm good.

The next trip, I got the California burrito. Honestly it was just okay when I ate it fresh. But when I ate it as leftovers the next day OMG. It was way way better.

I'll have to return next week to get the Mexican Caesar to see if it stands up to my coworker's hype.

Lastly, the paintings in the 100th Ave restaurant location are beautiful.“

“Lovely!! I love going to this place! The new owner is very friendly and he knows what he’s doing. Keep it and thanks a lot. The pizza is great, as expected. The prices are decent, people are great, and overall I recommend this place if you’re looking for a delicious Pizza! Now they do offer other types of food if you’re not feeling a pizza and that’s a score in my book!“

“It’s been years since I had Uncle Joe’s and the pizza was delivered faster than expected. The wings are meaty not greasy, the pizza was very evenly topped and it tasted great!“

“Just grabbed a quick breakfast from this establishment, and I was blown away! The quality and the quantity for the price is a STEAL.

It is a small cafeteria style cafe in a large business building, but don’t let the atmosphere fool you. This place is a gem.

The chef, Malcolm, was too cool. He was very welcoming and friendly. He had a great attitude and the man gets down on the grill/griddle. I ordered a build your own breakfast burrito, with bacon and jalapeños, and it was hands down one the best I’ve ever had. The tortilla was even grill to delicious texture.

If and when we’re back in Anchorage, we’ll definitely be back.

Soup, Salad and Breadsticks are the best deal in Town. Remember lunch prices are much cheaper than dinner prices.
Service, Atmosphere and Food are always excellent, when and if there is a problem, never had a problem after bringing it to their attention. Manager's Know How to Manage and Provide Customer Service above and beyond. Highly Recommended .“

“Fantastic pizza! We ordered a cheese, a pepperoni, a Margherita, and a spicy pepperoni. Everyone was happy with their choice. Wonderful crust and excellent toppings. We will put Gaetano’s in our list of regular takeout spots!“

“I absolutely love this Great Alaska Pizza company location and the employees there are the best. I accidentally left my lights on one time I went in and one of the employees was kind enough to come out and give me a jump and it was cold outside he really didn't have to I couldn't have been more appreciative. And they always get the food right cuz I am a little bit picky about how I want my stuff but they never give me any issue about it. The only reason I didn't give them five stars with the food and the atmosphere is because I don't ever get to finish all the food and because of what happened with my car. I didn't get to fully enjoy the food or atmosphere, but that's my own personal issue it's not theirs, they're always amazing over there.“

“We’ve been going here for years for the best wings in Anchorage. The owner is hilarious, the staff is kind and go out of their way to make you feel at home, despite being incredibly busy filling takeout orders. Nuke sauce has great heat and even better flavor.“
