A unique floor layout with a central sushi bar and a modest menu with all the main dishes you've come to expect. I highly recommend the appetizers, as they are above and beyond compared to many other restaurants.

A good option for sushi, but nothing really stands out. Cost is comparable with other places in the area.

We frequently order fried rice from here because it is good but the service is horrendous. Waiting over an hour for fried rice

First off our waitress was hustling.. Where I don’t know and I don’t think she did either as she must have asked us 10 times if we ordered a whatever roll that wasn’t ours. I think it was just her so she really was trying hard. The rolls we did get were all rice and cucumber. The noodles had so many onions.

Amazing Black Bean Noodles!

This was my first time visiting Silk, and I came specifically because I’d heard they had the best black bean noodle dish in town—and it did not disappoint! The Jajangmyeon (black bean noodles) was absolutely delicious—rich, savory, and perfectly balanced.

I took my boys with me for lunch since it’s one of their favorite dishes (even though it's a traditional Chinese dish, it’s super popular in Korean cuisine too). I’m so glad we found a spot that does it right—they nearly finished the whole thing!

The service was warm, the portions were generous, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend to anyone craving authentic, flavorful noodles.

It was comical how bad everything was. The place is understaffed. There were two people there; the server and the cook. I understand that the restaurant business can have really tight margins, but you are clearly doing something wrong if you have four tables with an hour wait on a sushi roll. The issue seemed to be that they had people constantly ordering for pickup/doordash, but again they only have two people working. At that point, why don’t you either close the walk-in and operate the kitchen for DoorDash or HIRE MORE PEOPLE. While I was there, a couple had left because the server forgot about them, not even giving them a menu. I had also overheard the group next to us had ordered a roll and were waiting on it and the bill, but the server had also forgot that and didn’t even write it on a ticket. Not to mention the server asking us if we want the bill while we are 30 minutes into waiting for the rolls that haven’t given us yet. Then the cook is giving the person advice on giving the people menus first thing so they have something to look at and don’t feel forgotten. This would be good advice, but it’s hard to take seriously when the food is horrible. Now, to get to the food. I ordered the dragon roll and my partner ordered the spider roll. I understand fish is fish, it will taste as such, but this tasted like it was not fresh whatsoever and like the soft shell crab was not thoroughly cooked. The worst part was my partner’s roll had the hard exterior shell of the crab in her roll . . . We didn’t finish our food out of fear of getting sick if we ate anymore, and did not ask for a box to take home. Seriously provide better training for your staff, hire more people, change how you operate overall. I will not be going back.

Please hire capable staff. The waitress on 05/28/2025 that was on staff was absolutely ridiculous. She couldn’t remember if she took our order, brought out half the food and then gave us the check before everyone was served and was completely overwhelmed by 3 tables. She literally kept running in circles. She must have asked us 3 different times if everyone got what they ordered. Even when she FINALLY brought everything, she would hand us our plates and kept saying “pardon my reach”. We were there for over an hour and 20 minutes before everyone ate. Oh, and she spilled an entire glass of water on another patron and instead of handing them a towel, gave them stack after stack of napkins.

On previous visits, there was another gal who was just as bad, I can’t tell you how many times we had to get up and grab our own requested items. Definitely won’t be back again, not for two star food and one star service.

Unfortunately Silk has slipped. I went back again after a bad experience hoping it was a fluke but it was not. I went for sushi to find out they had no sushi chef that day. So 2/3 of the menu was unavailable. They had 10 tables with only one server and one cook. They needed at least two more people on staff. I ordered a bento box with bulgogi. The box was incomplete because some of the items required the missing sushi chef. I was still charged full price for the incomplete box though. It took 45 mins to get my food. The bulgogi was very low quality. The rice was luke warm. The server was running all over trying to keep up but there was no hope. Nobody in the restaurant left happy. Too bad, was a great place in the past...

No MSG. Delicious food!

I have been to SILK Restaurant and Sushi Bar a few times, and there have been approximately four months between visits. The experience was the same both times.

I ordered the Almond Chicken, Garlic Chicken, and a California Roll. My friends ordered the Sesame Chicken, a Roll Deep Sushi Roll, and hot sake.

Both the California and Roll Deep rolls were delicious but fell apart easily, as they did on my previous visit.

The main dishes were delicious and cooked perfectly. They do not use MSG, and for that reason, I keep coming back.

Service was great, and they even offered us green tea at the end of our meal after we paid, probably because we were the last ones in the restaurant.

The atmosphere is a little lacking, but when you are in good company, it does not matter. For people eating alone, it can be a bit boring.

I will definitely keep coming back in another four months or so.

Oh my. I paid some type of $15 service fee to the restaurant just for the privilege of ordering from them. And then, Ordered thru grub hub order was 45 minutes later than the latest predicted time. I ordered $36 sushi (raw sea food), and it was warmed to room temp. Ew. Who eats warm sushi?

The poor grub job driver — he sat there waiting for my order, “any minute now.” He lost 45 minutes of income.

Terrible. Do not recommend, at all.

Went here for the first time with my bf for his birthday. Restaurant was not busy at all. When we got our appetizers I had to get the plates on my own. Which was fine.

My bf got his food first, which made me think my food was coming. 30 mins or so went by and still nothing, the waitress was no where to be found. Finally an older waitress ask how our food was and I explained to her that i never got my food and my bf is now done eating and id like to cancel my order. I was obviously upset. Which I tried to be understanding but there was so much attitude on the waitress part.

Terrible service 👎🏽
