Simon & Seafort's Saloon & Grill

Came for a friends 18th birthday. Set a reservation for two and still waiting twenty minutes to be sat. Was then lied to saying they were setting up the table. They put 8 half colorful string on the table. Then appetizers came out in like 40 mins. After waiting for another thirty fourth minutes for entree we decided to get the food to go.

Halibut cheeks overcooked,cheese crusted baked/burned. (Didn't eat) Clam chowder watery no taste, no seasoning(Didn't eat) Before I ordered the King Crab, I ask about the size. I didn't want snow crab small legs... Disappointed I spent $198.00 for one, me and it was horrible... My waitress was in the bar with friends. So the manager saw me looking and came over to help me. Crab cold butter cold... The only light was the Hostess.(Ms. Paige) With a welcome smile and let me check to make sure your table is ready. With my appreciation and admiration I left Ms. Paige with a Starbucks Card.

Our late lunch celebration was great! Such a good time of the day to go. Service and food was excellent, as always with Simon $ Seafort's.

Our food was incredible. The server, Matt, was on top of things. We came to celebrate our anniversary and we were well taken care of.

Everything was great. The bread at Simon's is always fresh and fantastic, the server was courteous and attentive and the food was tasty. I thought the three pieces of halibut in the Halibut Fish & Chips were small in size, but the taste more than made up for that. Excellent creme brule!

Always great crab and artichoke dip. Both scallop dishes - almond crusted and pan seared - were outstanding. Crème- brûlée is always a hit.

Excellent food and beverages. Service slow but waiter had many tables and no help . He was pleasant and helpful . Room too loud

Wonderful service here and the cocktails are fabulous. The Halibut Cheeks were masterfully prepared and tasted fresh with delicious greens on the side. I also had the Crab legs, now, the ultra-premium price paid for this particular treat, was perhaps, a bit ahead of the quality that would be expected at this price point and the sides could've benefited from a little more care. Nevertheless, the food overall was in most cases, well presented and tasty. Our severs and support staff were professional and caring, I like that !! I will return here to try some of the other dishes and hopefully, once again enjoy the spectacular views, they are indeed gorgeous.

Outstanding food, ambiance and views! We were seated next to the huge outdoor windows affording us an unobstructed and gorgeous view of the sunset over Susitana (the Sleeping Lady). The food is always 5 star at Simon and Seaforts. The server was very nice, attentive and polite. The actual service was a bit slow. We waited a long time for first drinks (which was just a draft beer and 2 glasses of wine). Then a long time for our mains to come out. Followed by a long time for dessert. However, the food was amazing, everyone loved their meals. It was also a birthday for one in our party and they decorated the table tastefully for it. Overall 5 stars!

Great service. Sat us at a window table which was great for my visiting cousin. Was very attentive to my food allergy. Food was delicious

Our waitress was inattentive and unenthusiastic. I especially noticed when another came for her shift. Friendly, welcoming, helpful. The view is lovely. Mount Susitna in the distance, mountains, the inlet. The food was good, not great. Disappointing halibut "cheeks." Wonderful mashed potatoes. Salmon was delicious. Unable/unwilling to accommodate any changes or modifications. Probably should have ordered the crab legs, but I won't return.

We were seated right away. The drinks were good and the food was most delicious. Our server was friendly, and attentive.

We had excellent food and wonderful views! Our appetizers and main dishes both knocked it out of park. Add in great service from our waitress and it was awesome!
