Unfortunately, Ski & Benny’s is under NEW Ownership and they are struggling to maintain the food quality that I am accustomed too.
I purchased a Roast Beef toasted sandwich and the roast beef tasted off. I am not going to eat it instead I will be taking it home and feeding my dogs!
The new owner seems nice enough however I just wasted $15 so our relationship is finished.

Bought a pizza yesterday and didn’t ask for extra cheese and they put so much cheese on the pizza it was raw underneath still and all the veggies were still partially cooked . Made me sick . The old owners were better.

The family who runs the place is awesome, often get to have a quick conversation with the owner while he’s cooking. Prices are too low for the food you get and the quality of it, if you go leave a tip for the cashier she deserves it ??

Lovely local spot! I often walk in and enjoy a lovely lil chat with the staff (owner) while my food is prepared.There aren't many places that are worth the $$ to eat out at in anchorage but Ski and Benny's hits every time and the portions are well worth.I've ordered their wings, pizza, philly, chicken parm, french dip, you name it -they don't miss.

One of the best-hidden gems in Anchorage regarding delicious pizza. Local, family-owned, and they have excellent customer service. The first pizza I ever tried instantly became my new favorite pizza.
Ordered the chicken and meatball parm.Pros:fast and nice serviceReasonable pricesPortion size goodThe bread is excellent quality and tasteCons:Meatballs are commercially frozen and prepackaged, low qualityChicken on chicken parm is a large commercially frozen chicken nugget texture, low qualitySauce is low quality, I suspect canned or jarred ragu sauceUsing fresh Chicken filets, fresh made meatballs, and a fresh made sauce would be a simple, easy fix to make these sandwiches best in anchorage. There are hundreds of very good authentic east coast chicken cutlet, Italian meatballs, and marinara sauce recipes on YouTube that will improve your product. Good luck!
