One of the best Thai food we have had and we have had it all around the globe! The drunken noodles were authentic. Pad kree maw and the northern noodles were just out of norm good!! We highly recommend to anyone in town for a good Thai food!!

I ordered online and feel like I got ripped off. Of course DoorDash has no real recourse for shitty food or service, so I figured I'd take the time to share here. I ordered the green curry and fried wontons. The curry was fine, but the wontons were a joke. $12 for fried wonton wrappers. There was an almost imperceptible amount of meat in them (see attached pictures). These could pass as a vegetarian food item. The description is misleading and they are not worth the money. Had I been reading in house, these would CD been sent back and I would not have payed for them. There are a lot of other Thai restaurants here in Anchorage and I have had far better experiences with their food.

This Thai restaurant is the real deal 100% Thai-owned and operated, so you can trust the flavors are as authentic and spicy as back home. Every dish brings back memories of Thailand, especially the beef Pad Kra Pao it seriously hits the spot and makes me feel like I’m back in Bangkok.

Yes the prices might be a bit on the higher side, but the quality, taste, and experience are absolutely worth it. If you’re craving real Thai food that actually tastes like home, this is the place. Highly recommended

So Thai is incredible and worth a visit if you’re in Anchorage! Everything we ate was delicious. The menu offered a lot of your typical Thai dishes plus more regional specials, the atmosphere was trendy and charming, and the family running the store was super sweet and attentive.

We love Thai food, and this place easily compares with the best places we’ve been to.

Out of 7 dishes tried, we only barely enjoyed one…the wings - but not enough to come back again. All the other dishes were lacking flavor and sauce and everything was skimpy on the ingredients, too. More specifically, the spring rolls were huge filled with lettuce but not enough shrimp (one little shrimp in the roll when clearly needed 2-3 shrimp in each one). The fried wonton were basically empty. Hardly any meat or veggies in the noodle dishes at all but highly loaded with large onion pieces. Zero wow factor or umami. The beef was sour and chewy. All the noodle dishes were dry and unseasoned. Serious disappointment as we had high hopes going in. I don’t recommend So Thai.

The flavor of the curries were excellent, the quality of meat was I think the worst I’ve had at a restaurant. There were multiple pieces that was just grizzle or fat in the pork.

The fresh rolls was ridiculously fresh with the vegetable vegetables on the downside the shrimp smell like old fish

The service was decent, but not very attentive. I had to wait more than five minutes before they came back to see if I needed to go box.

With the flavor of the curry, I wish I could say I could go back, but because of the low quality of the meat that appeared to be old, I will not be going back

Delicious food! Service is okay but not great. They never have napkins on the table and if you need anything you’ll have to stand up and walk to ask they never ask if you need anything or how’s the food. The place give a very Thai traditional vibe, I just wish they have a more softer chairs to sit.
