But today I ordered nachos with caso they gave me regular cheese when I got home the receipt said queso so I called they response was we told you we were out of queso and the guy only work there for a couple of week he asked for help they said there is nothing they can do WOW we east here at least once a week I'm done. What a shame

When I stepped in Sorrento's, I forgot I was in Alaska for some reason.....so I had to eat on the road, as I was working, but it was definitely delicious.....I had the lasagna with extra garlic bread, it was good!

The service was really good and the place had a good atmosphere inside. The pizza LOOKED amazing. It looked like NY style pizza my wife's favorite) it came hot with gooey cheese. But it was pretty bad!! The pizza was SOO SALTY. we bought 2 large and even the kids don't want to eat the left overs. We thought it might be the cheese- but it's the sauce. Im not sure why they salt the pizza sauce like this .. it's weird. I had never been to a restaurant/ pizza place who salts their pizza sauce this much, Until I came to Alaska; now I've had 2 places. But this one is worse than the other. Maybe we should have chosen pasta dishes instead? Maybe we will still try other dishes another time. But I'm wearing because that makes me think they will over salt EVERY dish containing sauce.

Love Sorrentos we have been going to that restaurant for many years. It is one of the best ones in town the top one I would say for Italian food.

Italian is limited in Anchorage and Sorrento's is a red sauce house in it's pretty form. When I need comfort food, I order the lasagna and garlic bread, which is a total artery clogger but delicious :) I typically order to go in the evening, on my way back from field work when I don't have time to cook, and they've always been busy. There are often several people waiting in the counter area, but folks are often friendly and chatty, which makes the wait pass quickly. Staff are efficient and somehow keep track of everyone.

My husband and I will often have date night there. Even ordering ToGo is a pleasant experience. I’ve ordered several of their dishes and my favorite is the Lasagna. Great restaurant with great recipes ❤️
Could have went to an old folks home and got more seasonings. The food was bland and the prices was outrageous. There was no garlic flavor in anything and I get better marinara sauce from a fast food restaurant. Will never go back.

Consistently excellent food and great service! They have the BEST Italian/Greek dressing and the BEST MEAT SAUCE in Alaska. My husband raves over their steaks as well; this is one of his favorite spots for good steak. Highly recommend Sorrentos!

Came in for dinner, were told we would need to wait 30 minutes. After having waited that long, and informed that we were next in line, they just gave away our table to a larger group, and told us that we would need to await an additional 15 minutes. absolutely appaling service ! We left and would never return

Pizza crust was definitely over baked, tomato sauce was very thin. I also order thier lasagna and was given a very small portion of lasagna and charged 25 bucks, garlic bread wasn't very crunchy... maybe from yesterday definitely not fresh.
