What a great spot. It was my first time there and it did not disappoint. The food was so good. I had the omelet with reindeer sausage and the homestyle potatoes. The best part was the staff. They were so fun and gave sarcasm back when it was giving, playfully of course. I loved the bottled hot sauce so much I bought one to bring home to Tucson with me. I consider Anchorage home and will most certainly add Southside Grill to my list of must stops.

Didn't get a picture of our breakfast, it wax so yummy we ate it all! Their Southside Grill Signature Hot Sauce is one of the best I have tried. Brought a bottle on the way out! Amazing service! Friendly staff. Good was absolutely amazing! The owner checked us out and was very friendly. Great family place!

What a hidden gem. Not only was the food fairly priced, but the portion sizes were huge and it was all so tasty. And the service is top notch, everyone is so friendly, and the food came out fast.

This place was a hidden treasure! We went around 10AM, and there was about a 20 minute wait. The staff greeted us as soon as we walked and were so welcoming and kind the entire time from when we walked in to our table to checking out. Now, it was busy, we had to wait in the doorway because everything as full, even the bar. We got sat in about 20 minutes, then it took maybe 20 minutes for our food to come out. That’s pretty impressive to me as someone who has worked in restaurants.
Now, the food. It was absolutely amazing. It reminded me of a home cooked meal. The home style potatoes were amazing, the egg and diced ham wasn’t runny, and the sourdough toast was so delicious. Everything was massive portions! The prices are some of the best prices I have seen around town.
I love that they have so many options for breakfast, from sweet to savory. Healthy to not so healthy. Options for literally everyone on the menu! Can’t go wrong!
I absolutely will be returning and highly recommend.
