Best lattes in town! Not overly sweet, espresso beans fresh and not over roasted, & espresso shots pulled without having a bitter or burnt taste. The lattes are always consistent in taste and quality. I wish I would have known about this place much sooner!

Previously I have rated SD an easy 5 stars. I have to lower it because there is a lack of consistency. Usually, great coffee, great service. Today, dirty dishes strewn about (as pictured), which were actually adjusted but not removed, they just sat there in a disgusting heap. Slow, unengaging service. AND IF YOU HANDLE DIRTY DISHES, DONT GO ON A LIFT THE SEAL ON THE MILK WITHOUT WASHING YOUR HANDS! Cross contamination is basic food handling service knowledge, and Anchorage’s supposedly elite level flagship cafe should be doing a better job than this.
Mistakes are sometimes made, and are excusable. I’m not unreasonable. Basic sanitation violations are not excusable. Let’s step it up steam dot.

Such an awesome place!!They seem like they really know what they're doing, and the coffee was great! I got an iced Latte and it was yummy.I also got a cinnamon roll, with was delicious!The atmosphere was great, with couches and chairs everywhere and plenty of seating and outlets.Definitely recommend!!Also their ice cubes were beautiful lol.

The coffee was really good! The atmosphere is more for business than on it comfort if that makes sense? It's where I'd go to meet up with a casual friend or get some work done, not where I'd go to catch up with a good friend or for a nice reading nook. The baked goods they have are good, more treats than food food.

Finally, a coffee shop that does not have a boring tea menu! I was so impressed they had 10 different teas with various varieties, and then they steeped it with a timer. I saw incredible artwork that the Reece were doing with local mochas and café drinks. It was such a fun experience going here. They actually have a Chemex and a coffee that you can get that’s made with a Chemex set up, I was impressed by that. This is a great place to take friends to talk. The only negative aspect that I could find with this location is that I couldn’t find a power source easily in a wall if you are working on your laptop.

Yesterday was my first and last time going in here; employees prefer to cluster around instead of paying attention to the orders and make "rules" that they were not posted. Ordered 3 shots of espresso over ice and was charged for a latte, and a matcha woth soy milk and got regular milk. Wasted my whole lunch hour because of an employee's obsession with dairy.
