The front of house and wait staff are fantastic but the organisation in the kitchen needs a drastic overhaul. The food is good - when you get it. Despite being one of the first to arrive we were the last to receive our meals. Even then one dish had been sitting getting cold while the other was being cooked. In the end we just finished our main and left without bothering to order anything else.

Wow -- what a terrible experience. We are visiting the area and took our kids to a special dinner to celebrate our anniversary. We ordered a bottle of 50th Anniversary Caymus Cab and it was delicious. $190 for the bottle seemed steep but well worth it. Things went downhill from there. Our server (Eugene) did his best -- but it is clear the kitchen is a mess. They did not have several of the things we ordered (like the second order of Oysters) and one of our starters came 20 minutes after the first starter. The calamari was room temperature. But tasty. Oysters solid. The salads came 70 minutes into our experience, At least the bread was excellent. The main courses and sides were bush league. The salmon was fishy but otherwise tasteless. Two of the three steaks were raw. The steak was ok, but not prime cuts. The lobster mashed potatoes were ok. The loaded potato good. The spinach never came. The brussel sprouts good. We tipped Eugene 20% because no amount of service was going to make up for such low quality food. I would never eat here again.

Service was great, food was mediocre and they were out of several items that we wanted. Had to send our steak back twice. They gave us a free dessert and appetizer to make up for the long wait and the mishap.

Took a really long time to get drinks and food. Servers had to be asked for silver ware - send strange to have to ask for a steak knife in a steak place. One of our party ordered the ahi. When the rest of us were getting our meals the server announced the kitchen was out of ahi. It took another 20-30 minutes for the final meal to come out. Just poor service all around. Expected more for$400. We won't be going back any time soon.

The food was extremely delayed and some items were not well prepared. In addition, the price is high

Sullivan's is an awesome place to go for a wonderful dinner. We had a great time, however we waited for our food because the restaurant had 3 to 4 time more guest from a tour reservation. The reservation was for approximately 14 people and 45 people showed up. We had to wait a long time for dinner. This was a special night as it was both my husband and my best friend's husband's birthday. Sullivan was nice and adjusted our bill a little bit. This was the first time we ever ran into this issue there.

The steaks were really good, we also had the shrimp cocktail and it was very good as well. We went there for our anniversary and they went above and beyond what I expected. They had a table ready and had decorated it for us. Great date night experience.

Service was super slow during a late evening reservation. Sea bass was overcooked, steaks were great. No refills on an Arnold Palmer because the lemonade is fresh ? On a $400 dinner ? Not our best experience there.

Good but not great. The service was good with one exceptional server in particular who was being a trainer. A bit noisy. Also a bit on the spendy side, but the food was good.

Steak was under done and chewy. Ordered a ribeye but it looked like a sirloin. Overly expensive for not so great steak.

Great service and great food as always. Took our son for the first time and really enjoyed our time.

Celebrated our anniversary. Great food as always. I just wish the seating was a little different. None of the booths allow for couple to face each other, so we had to turn our necks look at each other and talk

Very relaxing meal and atmosphere. Food was very good husbands shrimp was a tad over cooked, my steak salad a little over dressed steak cooked perfectly, carrot cake is good but to much caramel sauce in my opinion. The Blueberry Lemon Drop was delicious and as always the Key Lime pie excellent.

They went to extra effort to add sprinkles to the table for a special occasion. The stakes and cocktails are always great. We ended up with an order of brussels sprouts instead bearnaise sauce, which was corrected. Sullivan's is a nice Downtown option.

We went there for our anniversary dinner, we got Sydnee as our server and she was great! The apps were good with the calamari being the star (had the Beef Wellington bites and cheeseburger egg rolls too). Both of our salads were very good. I got the wedge with the blue cheese crumbles on the side and added the optional bacon. Hubs got the Caesar salad. We both very much enjoyed the freshness of them. Now where the food experience faulted, was our entrees. Hubs got the Cajun rib eye Oscar Style and I got the sea bass. He ordered his medium (was a 20oz steak) and it arrived well done - fully gray and edges burnt. Sydnee apologized and went to the kitchen to refire another one. She left the original one for him to try to eat on while the replacement came, and it was cooked correctly. My sea bass (that I have had 3 times previously and it's been amazing) was a super thick piece and it tasted extremely fishy and parts were slimy and mushy. After a couple bites and trying to see if there were any salvageable parts, I just had her take it. Once again she apologized and we said we weren't upset with her. She didn't cook it and she really appreciated that. Sullivan's offers a free dessert for Anniversary's so we got to pick one from their list, we went with the Banana Fosters Bread Pudding and omg if you get anything that we had - it has to be that! It was served warm with vanilla bean ice cream and caramel drizzle. It was SO good!! Highly recommend!
