It was extremely slow service took 45 minutes for them to bring me a straw appetizers. Came out 30 to 45 minutes apart. Calamari was soggy not crunchy. Very chewy steak was overcooked. This is always been one of my favorite restaurants, but I watched all the tables around our party get far superior service and in a way more timely manner very disappointed.

We waited 2.5 hours for our meal and never received dinner. Ended paying for our drinks and leaving to find a meal at 9:30pm at -11 degrees out. The absolute worst dining experience I have ever had!!

My wife and I's experience at the Sullivan steakhouse in Anchorage has typically been pleasant and memorable. However, our last dinner, Wednesday, December 31, 2025, was less than enjoyable due to several mistakes made by the waiting staff .One particular incident was when I ordered a particular appetizer known as Oysters Rockefeller and that order was mistakenly given to another family who showed up several minutes after we did which we found bizarre. When the mistake was realized by the one staff member, they brazenly, took the plate of oysters from a family and try to give it to us. This act in particular was very unsanitary as the food had sat on the table with the family for several minutes which would give way for germs and bacteria to be exposed to the food. My wife was very vocal about the mishap, but luckily the error made on the Sullivan Steakhouse staff's part was rectified. Nonetheless, I feel it is only appropriate to hold people accountable for their actions. Be they good or bad. As a result, I have left this restaurant with a less than favorable review.

We opted to return to sullivans for our anniversary on new years eve. This year however there was no longer a new tears menu. Overall this was a disappointing visit

Later reservation at 8:45 and the restaurant wasn't very busy. The hostess called an hour before asking if we wanted to come earlier and then ignored us on arrival talking on the phone. We sat on the bar side, had to get menus ourselves and look for a server. When she came she was lovely but it had been 15 minutes. Food was just fine and very expensive.

The food was cold when it arrived and a member of our party didn't get his order until the rest of us were about done. Very different from past visits.

We were seated and waited 1 hour for the waitress to finally take our order including drinks. The food was very average. The service was horrible, never got refills unless we asked then took 30 minutes. We were there 3 hours and won't be going back for a long time. The restaurant was not overbooked. The kitchen was apparently short-staffed and not well equipped for our Monday dinner rush. The restrooms were dirty and 2 of the 3 stalls were out of order in the women's. Not a good experience. Many other better options to consider in Anchorage with better food, value and ambiance. We were celebrating a birthday and we all left annoyed and dissatisfied.

We went there to celebrate my 29th years anniversary. We enjoy the food but my Rib eye steaks was kind a salty and hard to chew. The best part is the service. We enjoy our dine in our food server ( Phoebe) was doing a fantastic job thank you. Great job!!

The server Michael was very pleasant and attentive to us. The food was good. I had the lobster stuffed shrimp with basil burreblanc. The shrimp was over cooked but the flavor was so good.

Not as good as last visit. The food was not prepared to order. Asked for medium for my burger and it came out closer to well done. Service was slow considering there was only one other customer in the dining area. It is probably explained by the fact that for whatever reason both chefs left the kitchen at the same time for about 5-10 minutes despite our order not completed.. The waiter was obviously frustrated with this and did his best to prompt them to finish the order when they returned and apologized several times.

Great ambiance, can actually carry on a conversation. The live music was classy and not intrusive. Josh was definitely an asset to the team. Cordial, knowledgeable and friendly. The steak was prepared perfectly and the sides were delicious, like the creamed spinach and Bearnaise sauce. Service was very fast. Will come back when back in town.

Our waiter, Michael, was a gem. Attentive and so friendly. We enjoyed our meal as always. The food is consistently delicious. We celebrated our anniversary at Sullivans for the 3rd year in a row!
