Atmosphere n food was great!! The waitress who waited on us has very poor customer service and not very mindful or respectful. We were a party of 3 with an infant . After placing our order the waitress mumbled wow that’s a lot of food. She knew we heard her and she looked away! Why would you even say such a thing you’re not paying! 2nd issue My daughter was on FT w her hubby and her daughter was looking at her dad waitress came back and told my daughter Oo u should have your daughter only watch church stuff nothing else and that she has 3 kids and that’s all they were exposed to and they are strong minded. Why you being so nosy We all looked confused! 3rd issue my daughter asked for a second Dr Pepper from the same waitress she told my daughter Oo no that’s to much sugar if you want a baby boy you don’t need it and walked away and never came back. My husband had to ask another waitress for the drink but guess who came back with the drink thinking it’s for my husband smiling “are you kidding right now”… at this point I said we’re leaving . Mind you now my irritation is on another level we came here to have a pleasant lunch not be lectured or schooled she had my daughter feel some type of way with her comment about her child should only watch church stuff…. So I go to ask for the bill she comes back tried to take my card at first I said I needed to see the bill and she proceeded to take my card a second time now I’m loud hold on I haven't even seen the bill can you wait! And she walks away.. the waitress ruined our family lunch and our first experience at this restaurant!! Never again will we come back!!! Know your place and mind your business and just do your job . I hope the owner of sushi garden sees this review and really have a conversation with this waitress !!! If I could give it a negative negative I would!!!

Sushi Garden in Anchorage is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the inside feels cute, cozy, and welcoming, the kind of place you instantly want to settle into and enjoy a great meal.
The service is amazing: friendly, attentive, and impressively quick without ever feeling rushed. Every part of the experience felt thoughtful and well-paced. The meal starts off perfectly with soup, salad, and edamame, which is such a comforting and satisfying way to begin.
The food is truly show-stopping. The lunch bento boxes are huge, seriously generous portions, and you’ll definitely have leftovers to enjoy later. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared.
To top it all off, the meal ended with the most delicious cinnamon tea. It was warm, lightly sweet, and the perfect finishing touch to an already amazing meal. Sushi Garden is absolutely a place I’ll be coming back to again and again!
