GREAT SERVICE AND BEAUTIFUL VIEWS. The Anchorage airport has incredible views and this restaurant is privy to them. The food was very good but the service was excellent. Helpful with advice on the menu and explained the many different rolls. Had the OMG roll and the monster roll. Both were made in front of me and were very good. This is a great place for a quick bite between flights.

Best sashimi I have ever had—thick, fresh chunks of deliciously flavored fish and the ginger and even the garnish tasted SO good! Very professional and happy staff. Atmosphere is a 3/5 only because it is in an airport.Please, please, please make a restaurant outside of the airport—I NEED more!!!

Worst place i've ever been to. Food was disgusting - the chicken tasted old and it was really dry and the california roll rice was really hard like it had been in the fridge overnight or something. Worst service I've ever had. They automatically add a 4% gratuity fee even if you're by yourself. THEY ALSO TIPPED THEMSELVES ON MY CARD. Never coming to this place again.!

EDIT: I just checked my bank statement and THEY TIPPED THEMSELVES!!! I purposely didn’t tip because one, they gave themselves a 4% gratuity already added on and secondly, the service was horrible. I forgot to mention that there was open seats and the lady told me not to sit a certain table. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN. Seriously so disappointed because I came here once 5 years ago and thought they were amazing. Now it’s just horrible.I’ve made many mistakes in my life and coming to Sushi on the fly was definitely one of them. I didn’t even touch my teriyaki chicken because the chicken tasted old and dry. Service was terrible, couldn’t even get a water refill or shoyu.$28 + 4% gratuity (was automatically added and I was eating alone, wish they would have put that somewhere because I definitely wouldn’t have eaten here) I expected the bento box to at least be decent but even the California roll weren’t good. I wouldn’t waste your time or money here.

We really wanted to eat here, but sadly we didn’t even get a chance. The place was half empty and so we put some of our bags on the chairs. The server didn’t like that and wanted us to put it on the floor, but the floor looked dirty. She said there aren’t enough chairs for us to use them for our belongings. We decided to leave and go to McDonald’s not too far away. We come back since it was near our gate and the place was still half empty…From the looks of other reviews this is pretty consistent with their service over the years.

Ordered bacon fried rice, wasn't cooked, they charged me someone elses bill i let them know and they acted like it was my fault, then they lost my card and had me waiting while they looked for it, found in there card machine later, they then expected a tip , very rood and yelled when they didn't get one ?
Food is ok. Service is just so so. They brought us the bill without being asked for and we were still working on our meal. Apparently they still have plenty of seats available but looks like they wanted us to leave right away. They also charged 15% tips automatically.

Would've love to have eaten here. However the waitress told us it was gonna be a wait. Which we were fine with. I stepped away to use the bathroom and she gave the table immediately to the people standing behind us when we waited 45 mins...worst customer service ever!

I had a great meal (chicken yakisoba) and a tasty beverage. The food was fast and delicious! Jake was an excellent bartender/server and was very helpful and kind. I really appreciated that the TVs at the bar were playing three very different types of programming including motorsports racing and nature shows- I will happily return!
