Food was great atmosphere is probably the best in Anchorage. Only problem with service was they wrote down the wrong order and we ended up with double sushi and bill which was tough. But he gave us ice cream and took a bottle of saki off the bill. Which for the situation was nice but still hurt the wallet and I definitely over ate.

Everything was awesome about this place, the food, the interior design, the service, and the fact that they haven't gone to the moon with their prices. I'll definitely be coming back here. Our server John was very nice which I appreciate. Sushi Ya is at the top of list of my favorites. The takoyaki wasn't bad either

Given the exterior I was pleasantly surprised by the interior. Very nice, upscale atmosphere. They managed to have a busy restaurant that has a quiet and warm feel. The waitress was extremely attentive and the sushi rolls were awesome. Great variety as well. Didn't love the chicken matsu but that's just personal preference. I do recognize it was well made. I will definitely be back.

I have eaten a lot of sushi in my life. Sushi Ya was one of the best. The food was phenomenal. If you like spicy, I highly recommend the Crazy Devil Roll! The prices are reasonable and the service was great. I highly recommend this place!

I've been to alot of sushi spots. This place is a well oiled machine. I can't believe how smooth everything was. It didn't matter what position those folks actually had everyone was helping out. Even a cook saw my empty plate and grabbed it off the table. Im so very impressed. Highly recommend this place. My new favorite sushi place. Don't miss out folks you won't regret coming here
