The taped paper at the bottom makes it all butimpossible to separate the halves and not spill the sandwich contents everywhere. Maybe forgo the tape all together?Parking: Its a busy parking lot. Expect to circle around a couple of times to find parking, especially if yoga when yoga is starting next door.

Online ordering is not adequate, actually deceptive. You have various options that aren't offered online... apparently your expected to just know and put that in the notations? Also very light on the horseradish, had to disect the sandwich to check that it was there.

The employees of Sweet Caribou exhibit some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. We just picked up an online order for lunch and one of the sandwiches was incorrect. We are in the midst of a snowstorm and they delivered the correct sandwich and refunded the card. Everyone involved was so friendly and apologetic, not to mention all the lunches come with a mini macaron and a bottled water. I'm very impressed.

They catered for an event and brought everything that we ordered at the time they said they’d be there! They provide really generous portions and nice service wear, including sturdy plastic plates you can easily wash and use again. We ordered two salads and a variety of sandwiches. They cut the sandwiches in half and the haves were plenty big for everyone to enjoy. All the salad toppings made the lunch hearty while accommodating multiple dietary restrictions. And don’t get me started on the macaroons! Delicious.I would definitely order their catering again!

Had this for lunch at work. Did take out so I wasn't able to see the restaurant and ambiance. I had the roasted turkey spenard. It was pretty good. Decent size, came with a kale salad and a macaron. Everything tasted pretty fresh. Everyone kept teasing me that it would be dry but it was actually pretty juicy!
Sweet Caribou is located in the Olympic Center Plaza, right in the corner that is easy to spot. After getting a breakfast burrito at the newly opened Bema, my husband and I decided to check out Sweet Caribou. I ended up getting:6 macrons, $13- If you purchase the macrons individually (of 5 or less), they will cost you $2.50 each. For the flavors, I picked: birthday cake, almond joy, after dinner mint, rose lychee, orange creamsicle and mango. Each flavor was very good. My husband and I enjoy sharing them. Service was friendly but they were definitely busy on a Thursday afternoon, around 12:45 pm. Sweet Caribou is a nice place to grab a bite to eat (they have sandwiches and salads on the menu), a coffee or tea and a little sweet treat. If I lived in this area, I would most likely be a regular.

Sweet Caribou is my go to for amazing, artisan sandwiches and salads in Anchorage. They also have amazing desserts with their handmade macarons being their signature item. They are always delicious and the range of available flavors is always changing. I have also utilized their delivery service and the orders are always on time and packaged perfectly. Finally, you are not going to find a nicer group of employees who not only remember my name and order, but always go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. I cannot recommend this cafe/bakery highly enough!

Many, many years ago I bought macarons from Sweet Caribou at the South Farmers Market. So very good! Fast forward 10(?) years to a few days ago. My boss wanted to go to lunch and wanted a salad, the first place I thought about was Sweet Caribou. I knew they catered because my husband has had catering from them numerous times but I wasn't sure about seating. I called in advance and, yes, they have seating. So, it's pretty chaotic, especially during the time we were there 12:30ish. It's a walk up place your order for a sandwich or grab a premade salad. Then you find a spot to sit, which might be communal seating or you may get your own two seat high top. I got the the Huffman Horseradish sandwich and the boss got a premade salad. We went and sat in the cafe because it was a bit more quiet and we needed to talk shop. My sandwich was awesome and with my sandwich I got about a cup sized salad (kale, quinoa and other stuff) which was very tasty! All orders get a mini macaron, boss didn't like macarons so I got two chocolate ones! For the price, I think the sandwich is the better deal. The boss was really happy with his salad, which was a soy/ginger with a good portion of chicken and he thought both meals were reasonably priced. I would knock off a half star simply because if you're a newbie to the place, it seemed rushed. Other than that, the food, the vibe, the fair price.... I would totally go back again.
