Great fast Mexican food with vegetarian options. The King Burrito (vegetarian) is darn good with rice and beans (no lard in beans). Fast and friendly service.

just ate at the boniface location 5/2/2025 pretty bad service the cook and the cashier/manager on duty got my dad's order wrong he ordered a gordita then tried to argue with him about it and didn't give him his receipt, the condiments bar looked pretty bad

Pretty solid Mexican place that has a drive through. Courteous staff. I usually get a steak sope but their other fare like birria (photo), burritos and soup are solid as well. Unfortunately getting more expensive relative to other substitutes (e.g., El Jefe) and other cuisine (e.g., Guido's pizza)

Taco King is my go-to spot when I’m craving Mexican food! I've never been to Mexico...yet. (so sorry!! 😭) so I don't know authentic Mexican food. But Taco King, to me, is one of the best spots that we can have in Alaska! It was as good as the Mexican food that I had in San Diego. And Taco King is way better than the Mexican food I had in Arizona!! I almost always get the carne asada tacos, I also really like their tamales, and my get my kids like the horchata drink! I’m obsessed with their pickled onions too—they add the perfect tangy kick toy tacos. 🤤

Food poisoned at the Boniface Taco King March 10th, 2025. I think the open sauces haven't been changed in a while, or the shrimp was bad in my burrito. I threw up multiple times throughout the night into the next morning. Laid in bed all day March 11th I haven't eaten in 24hrs. It's now March 12th, and I'm still on fluids only. This is the first time this has happened to me at one of your locations. I've eaten at other Taco King's and your food is really good, but this past experience was horrible.

I ordered for delivery and gave my address. The address in the computer was different and I told them not to use it because it was just a temporary address and to use my normal address and gave it to them. We'll, they didn't listen to me and delivered it to an address ACROSS TOWN ANYWAYS. Neve ordering food from this company again and do not recommend it to anyone. Too bad, because I really liked the restaurant

I hope the manager in this location is reading this the staff were making fun of my mom ordering we can hear you giggling pretending they couldn’t hear us and we asked for salsa didn’t even give it to us no forks got our order completely wrong just gonna say felt racist I’m Mexican Islander as well my mom is Islander it would be very hypocrite to receive racism from a Mexican restaurant gonna avoid this location for a few years that’s the vibe it was giving . Big shame used to be my favorite Taco King location 1/03/25 3:00pm when we ordered.

The guacamole is delicious and flavorful!
Pretty disappointed with the actual meal. Being from Texas, I wanted to at least try a Mexican restaurant to satisfy a craving.. My enchiladas have a sour after taste, were hard to chew and my refried beans have no taste.
Kid-friendliness: We stopped in for lunch on my grandson 6th birthday. The staff went out of their way to make him feel special. They even sang him happy birthday.
