This is a strong 3 star texmex joint. Meat was tender, best part of the meal by far. Tortillas were just okay. Sides were just okay. $20 pretty steep for it. But this is what you get in Alaska. Service is pretty much on par with the review. Order drive thru and head home.

After my first, I have returned for the queen's tostada every time I have a craving for Mexican food! They're servic is fast and friendly with a variety of eats for everyone in the mood for Mexican, not to mention there plentiful options for sauces and salsa.

Sit down quality food that you order like fast food. Food was excellent. Staff were friendly. Self serve salsa. Delicious. Great atmosphere.

We got back in the hotel and we didn't have any utensils. Pozole was good but was hard to eat with no utensils. Good thing I had some paper cups so I transferred some from the tall plastic container. It made it easier to slurp it down without getting burn and be messy.
The nacho was just a disappointment. The cheese was so hard. Had to work at it a little to have chips and cheese together to dip.

My husband and I give the one on Tudor a minus star. It was the worst $50 ever spent. All the chips were super stale and didn’t even come with the salsa. They didn’t give us the beef chimichanga, the bag at the bottom was spilled honey all over everything. My beef nachos were, like I said, on a bed of stale chips, and lacking meat. I could go on about the rest of our food and service.
We went back and asked to at least get the dessert redone that was burnt and was not what the menu had describe and his beef chimichanga that was missing. Got it home and it was a cold chicken chimichanga. Like they gave us someone else’s mis order just to be rid of us. Could have gone to Taco Bell for $20 and been a lot happier. Never ever going back. We were a walk in and take out.
For the record, this in my whole life 50 plus years is the only negative review I’ve ever given anything or anyone.

Food is always pretty decent, however service lacks significantly. Went in on lunch to get a carne asada combo, asked for just rice no beans and corn tortillas. Ended up getting very little rice and a mound of beans with flour tortillas. I would understand if the restaurant was busy but it wasn't with one person sitting down and a guy coming in after me. It's not like I called in the order for pickup I stood there and answered the questions the employee asked me.

I grew in South Central Texas and worship at the alter of tex-mex. This place scratches that need for me. I'm able to order in spangllish and the menu is solid. I get the lengua tacos each time I'm in town. The staff is friendly and the food taste good, what more is needed?

Authentic Mexican quick bites. Friendly staff and the chef tailored the tacos to our request. Loved the carnitas tacos, and laughed about the gringo taco our friend ordered (taco shell with ground beef, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes). Will be coming back again.
