Our server was amazing! Food was on point and we didn't have to wait long at all. Thank you for an amazing anniversary dinner.

Food was shockingly delicious! We ordered many things to try and loved them all! This place is totally underrated!

Easy reservation and walkable distance to events downtown. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We had a great time and will definitely go again.

Dining area & restrooms were clean. Tables spacing good. Noise level low. Service was slow, with so many empty tables we thought ordering food & receiving it would be quicker. Pricing was higher than expected with unequal price to ratio - even for downtown Anchorage. Our order was messed up and staff kept trying to bring us food we did not order. When the bill was received, mistaken item was still on the bill. Overall, not impressed. Would not visit again.

We had the street taco's - very good and our friends ordered the fish dishes. Everything was delicious!

Friendly and efficient service, nice variety of food and drinks and good gluten free options.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Tequila 16. We started with the amazing shrimp ceviche, empanadas, and duck confit tacos. While the food was delicious, the highlight of our visit was definitely the service. The servers were incredibly personable and attentive, making the whole evening feel special.

Tequila 61 in Anchorage is a culinary masterpiece! Their Latin-fusion menu is phenomenal, and the Duck Confit Tacos are a must-try. The rich, tender duck paired with a blueberry-peanut salsa is an unforgettable explosion of flavor. A true gem!

From the moment we walked into Tequila 61, the ambiance set the tone for a relaxing dinner. The decor appear to be very well thought out and the flower bouquets are a very nice touch. The Latin music created a laid back vibe that made us feel instantly at home (we are visiting from Orlando).

After an afternoon of hiking the Matanuska Glacier, our server Ana A started us with the berry soda and Popcorn Shrimp which was very flavorful. For our main entree, Ana A recommended the 14 oz Gaucho steak which was absolutely just what I needed.

We also tried the Halibut and the Duck Confit Tacos as well as the Carne Asada Tacos. The Duck Confit was absolutely delicious!!!!!

And for dessert, we wrapped things up with the Horchata Cornbread which was unexpectedly better than I thought it would be.

Overall, I loved Tequila 61. If I get the chance to go again beforethe end of my trip, I'm going to try the Salmon.

Didn't much care for my spicy margarita, but my second drink (something with mezcal and amaro I think) was good. Duck tacos were unremarkable. Husband's fajita portion was huge and very, very hot. Guacamole was just OK. Liked the atmosphere but food was a little disappointing given the reviews I'd read.

Very disappointing food and with one exception (our primary waitress) - very disinterested service. A gentleman who appeared to be the on duty manager brought an item to our table and in placing it down he unapologetically placed his hand in my food! I said, "That's not good!" and he smiled, but did not offer to replace my plate or indicate any apology. Our waitress, who was fine, and exception among a disinterested and disengaged staff, brought me a new plate. My reviews are generally positive when I take the time to post a review - this is rare. If you do decide to dine at Tequila 61, there is nothing that I ordered that I would recommend, and I would especially urge you not to order the guacomole or the chicken tacos. Sadly, the salsa is bad - so I could not use it to help either the chicken or the guac!
