Cool little tequila bar restaurant right in downtown. Food was alright, I had the Carnitas tacos with beans and rice. Beans and rice need some seasoning. Tacos were a bit greasy, but good
Didn’t give five stars for the customer service experience to get sat was very unprofessional, as well as watching the gentleman in charge coach an employee in earshot of guest. That should never happen where guests are in plain view and can hear.
If you want to guarantee you’ll get sat quickly ensure you have a reservation, they get busy otherwise you’re at the mercy of bar seating which holds about 12-ish people.
The bar service was fantastic, they do a lot of “smoky” drinks, so be prepared, you may smell like a campfire when you leave.

Awesome venue, food and drinks. Great conversation at the Bar! I have eaten Raw Oysters in Florida most of my life, tried raw Oysters in Maine the summer of 2023 and now Alaska in January of 2026! I will have to say the Oysters in Alaska and Maine have the taste and texture the Florida Oysters had 25 years ago. Excellent Oysters come out of these cold waters! And the Tequila was taste too!😁

Our first time here. Pleased with the selection. Pear salad delicious and not overdressed with dressing. We usually order dressing on the side but forgot but very happy with this salad. Guacamole start was perfect. I'd asked about the spice level of dishes so our server had our taco relish put on the side. It was too spicy for me so appreciated her decision. She was super attentive but not excessive. Rockfish taco great texture and taste. We even had dessert - “pay de limon”, a creamy light end to our meal. We had an early reservation so the big tables near us were empty. By the time we left the place was full but noise level was fine with chatter of voices. We've got reservations already for next month.

The cocktails are the stunners. I had a cocktail I'd never had before that I both liked and was overpowered by. The opportunity to engage in thought about whether it was 'good' or 'bad' was intriguing. The service was slow and at times absent. I was drawn in by the apparent fusion of American/Mexican and Alaskan ingredients. The food was good, though I didn't find a standout pairing or flavor that made this a must return.

Seat was dirty when we got sat, table was sticky, water tasted bad, food was SO greasy and I didn't even get fried food. The rockfish tacos were gross and I couldn't even finish my pork. The first bites were good but then the grease just soaked everything. Sad about it

Wonderful staff and the food was delicious!! The size of the group grew to 16, and the staff was very nice how they kept up with the orders coming in. Both the waiters who attended to our table were lovely, and did not lose their cool, with the chaos of the group. Thank you, you do your job very well.
Hadn't been here in a while, but a group of four of us met here for drinks and dinner, and Tequila 61 did not disappoint. Great ambience, a warm welcome from the manager, imaginative and well-crafted cocktails, and delicious food. Between the four of us we had four different types of tacos and all were great. We're definitely going to return soon!
