I recently had a disappointing experience with Texas Roadhouse regarding their Veterans Meal offer. I called at 5:16 PM to place a to-go order, and the representative assured me it was possible. She mentioned they were busy and asked me to return at 6:30 PM to pick it up. However, when I arrived at the scheduled time, they informed me that they had run out of Veterans Meals 30 minutes earlier, meaning I wasn’t able to receive the meal they had promised.
It was incredibly frustrating to be misled about the availability, especially after waiting over an hour to pick it up. A better system should be in place to ensure meals are set aside for those who call ahead, especially for a special promotion intended to show appreciation. This experience left me feeling let down, and I hope they make improvements for future events.

The only issue I had was when my food came it was wasn't hot! For the money spent, my ribs should've been smoking hot ? and it was lukewarm at best. Do better next time......

Worse service ever. The girl was cleaning the glasses after people left. Threw the ice out. Washed it with her fingers. Then dipped it in nasty water no bleach. No cleaner. The girl was so busy talking to a guy we sat there a good 15 minutes and she had he back to us leaning over the bar the entire time. Other waitresses were moving around and cleaning but the brunette. The ribeye steak was so dry and over cooked. They brought us salads 10 minutes apart. When we ordered together. Nothing was OK about the service or food tonight. Never going back.

Service was atrocious, waited over an hour for seating, another half hour for a waitress, she was rude and waited half an hour to even put our order in, after nearly an hour we asked and were told the order would be "between 5 and 30 minutes out", when speaking to the manager all we got were excuses

4.5 overall. Food is well priced, especially for families with kids. You can't bet $8.99 for steak bites with mashed potatoes and gravy. We waited 30 minutes to be seated, but many tables were empty... maybe lacking servers? Service was slow, and multiple items were missed from the order but were quickly corrected.
Kid-friendliness: Affordable kids menu with free drink included
TERRIBLE service. Every member of the staff had an attitude problem. We sat at our table for an hour when we finally got a hold of a waitress (with an attitude) she told us that the waitress hadn’t put our order in until 20 my minutes prior. They waited 40 minutes to even put in our order! Think it’s just me? All five people in our party agree that the entire experience was unacceptable. Save your time and money- go somewhere else for dinner.

I came here with my wife and ordered the Country Fried Sirloin. And it was terrible, the sirloin was covered in white gravy, way too much. And way too salty. My sides I ordered were buttered corn and mashed potatoes with country gravy. The buttered corn was terrible too, way too salty as well. Couldn’t even finish it. The mashed potatoes and gravy and the rolls were the only thing I could eat and enjoy. My wife ordered the chicken Caesar salad and she said the chicken was cold. And not enough dressing on the salad itself! And while we waited for our food, a waitress dropped off a T bone steak and a side of steak fries, and started to walk away, and my wife and I stopped her and told her that wasn’t what we ordered. And then after about 15 almost 20 minutes another waitress drops off a shrimp appetizer, and begins to walk away, and we had to tell her too that wasn’t what we ordered! The waitress looked annoyed that it wasn’t ours and that she had to take it away. Come on Texas Roadhouse get your shit together! My wife & I ate at one in Idaho on our Honeymoon 1 year ago in August. And it was amazing, delicious!! Super disappointing! I was hoping trying something new on the menu would be just as good as the New York Strip steak I had in Idaho! Guess I was wrong ?
