Great older establishment in North Birchwood. Pool, darts, music and a rustic feel. It's been around a long time. A biker and locals hangout for connoisseurs of the like. It's a fun place that now has a wing place inside.
Finally catching up on reviewing places and didn’t want to leave them out. First time I went here was in 95 and came back 30 years later happy to see it’s still there and exactly the same. It was good to be home and show my gf the real Alaska and not the “tourist trap” Alaska. This should be a stop if you visit and you’ll want to stay awhile. Love the people there and make sure to leave a good tip, they work hard.
Classic dive bar...I really enjoyed it. I had a beer while coming back from Glennallen, and I simply can't pass up a dive. Walked in, and immediately ordered a drink. Lots of townies, bikers, and rednecks. MY kind of people! This place is real, and has soul. I'll absolutely go back. Talked with locals, and had a great time.
