I think the owner himself cooks the food? I'm not sure but when i went the second time i got to try their food and it was BOMB Cherokee guy was chill as heck and actually tried to get any songs that he didnt already have. Bartenders are cool as hell and the lady was super nice I'm new to drinking and bar etiquette so i didn't know you pour the water yourself but she didnt make me feel stupid for not knowing it so i really appreciate her. Overall I've got nothing but good things to say about the place.

The bartender basically ignored us for 20 minutes without even acknowledging our presence finally one of the waitresses who was a gem offered us help but since this is the third time I have sat at the bar and been ignored I won't be back I really wanted to love it too but the bartenders were awful

Peefect little dive! Staff was great food was priced right and beer was cold! What more could you ask for? Kayla (sorry if I misspelled it) was welcoming and attentive. The food is nothing to write home about, but it's priced right for what you get. If you're in the area looking for a quick stop, this is a good spot.

So I have to share. I had given a negative review. Which was deserved. But I gave the place a second chance and after the experience I decided to delete my review and post this one. I have been in Alaska for two weeks. Tried many many different places to eat. None have deserved a second visit. If you are looking for good company and absolutely great food give this place a try!! You won’t be disappointed!
I have purposely ordered something differ t each time here. There are a couple of bartenders I would rather not have. But the rest of the staff is exceptional in their jobs.

I give it all 5 stars, even though some consider it a dive bar. I've been coming since childhood. Every one is always kind. This is the 1st time I caught the open mic night. ?
