The employ the best here, I realize. I'm having the best day and the best conversations with people from around the US that may not have happened otherwise. The downtown of any big city can be challenging, but The Broken Blender truly does their best to provide a space for us to relax. I've never sang karaoke in the state of Alaska, but I'm inclined.

Attended an event here on a Thursday night. Not impressed. Great dive bar, if you’re into that sort of vibe. Music was wayyyy too loud, that might make me officially old, lol, however, their karaoke stars were the highlight here. I suspect that the 2 AMAZING SINGERS are employed here. The woman had amazing vocals, clarity and range. She was really quite talented!!! Bravo!!! 🤩 The male vocalist was outstanding, as well, and was band material. Very impressed with both of them, didn’t catch either name and don’t plan on returning. They could really dress it up inside and make it so much nicer, it really wouldn’t take that much. The Old Fashioned I ordered was ok, but not top shelf, I’ve had better. I was unable to finish the beverage. The service was basic.

Love the Nerdvana trivia nights! The food and drinks are just ok here but service is good. The trivia is what gets us coming back.

I came within an hour of closing when it was slow with a shelter dog from the shelter's Tails & Trails program for a day out, and we sat in the outdoor section. I ordered a breakfast burrito for myself and eggs for the dog Mojo; staff threw in bacon for Mojo for free, and were nice to the dog too. Great food and the staff were a huge green flag 🩷

I asked for a whiskey and Coke and got a rock glass full of whisky with no Coke I’m not impressed by bartenders just over serving me especially with out my consent the liquor board should look into this place. Truly awful place of business
On our first night in Anchorage we stumbled across this nice little bar. It was Sunday night and they had live music. The bar staff (Tierra) was amazing, the place was not overly crowded but still busy at times and she worked her butt off to keep everyone served quickly. She even suggested a drink to try when I was not sure what I wanted, I drank it for the remainder of the night as it was so good. Highly recommend this little bar if you are looking for a quiet meal and enjoyable time away from the other crouded bars.
