Fantastic bar. They had very reasonably priced drink options and there was live music.

The Broken Blender has probably the best Old Fashioned in Anchorage. For reals, and Jo is the best.We have multiple food sensitivities. So, take those three stars with a grain of salt. Few places in Anchorage are 100% safe for us. Besides, those tots really did taste amazing before I realized I'd dosed myself.

The atmosphere and food are both awful. The entertainment sucks too. It's a trashy bar overall.

Jo was awesome!! We stayed for a few weeks and visited this bar daily!! The bartenders took a little bit to warm up to me but, eventually, they came around. They’re alright (haha)I was a big fan of the karaoke!! Anytime there was karaoke night, I WAS THERE! It only took me a beer or two to warm up and then I was SOLID! (Drunk goggles/Ears) there is one local, SMOKE!!! This guy is awesome. If you’re wanting to go for a show, definitely go during karaoke time because I’m certain smoke will be there ??Great time, Great BAR! Great customer service and most of all, Sarge!

This is my Cheers. They are so kind and refreshing. I'm thrilled to be there any time and for any of their special events. Their selection of beers and beverages is wonderful and I love grabbing their amazing food. Join them on your next time downtown. Their service team is amazing. You will be lucky to join them.

This place became a home away from home during a long work trip. I was in charge of about 25 ppl and we regularly went over to have some drinks and food. We hit all the attractions. Trivia, poker, burlesque, and karaoke. The bartender Jo was always welcoming and took care of all of us like family. My company regularly come to Anchorage, and The Broken Blender is our new hot spot. You've got our business as long as Jo is there. Al was pretty cool too. Always a homie. Highly recommend the cheese sticks too, and the garlic aioli sauce.

went to trivia night with some friends and they charged my friend a 25% "large party" auto gratuity on 2 drinks. There were three of us at the table. when the bar tender was confronted and the manager was asked for the bar tender was the manager and she said she did that on purpose. She purposefully made a friend charge on her card. we will NEVER go back there.

Jo’anna and Al always keep a really cool vibe. The food is fresh, they have great wings and burgers. Sometimes they have taco specials. Tons of beers on tap and a good mix of liquor.

I came here to see a comedy show put on by Rubber Ptarmigan. It was hilarious. I ordered a mixed drink upstairs before the show started, not knowing if the servers would be too busy downstairs. The servers upstairs were entertaining, and a good start to the night. Downstairs, the waitstaff was on point, so I ordered the pepperjack cheese sticks. They were amazing! The waiter came back and checked on us several times. I was very impressed with this visit, and still want more of those cheese sticks! Will definitely be back for more comedy shows! They had a band going upstairs too, they sounded good, and I would have stayed to listen after the show, but I was with someone that couldn't.

One of my favorites. Probably "qualifies" as a dive bar, but that may send an incorrect image of this gem.The staff is awesome, twenty four "on Tap" selections. A lot of hard liquor choices, but if it requires a blender--refer to its name--if it requires a blender... "they're out of that."Salmon/steak bowls, burgers and wings, etc.My first choice when dining out.Love this place!

Drink orders kept coming out wrong, then the bar ran out of Hendricks. Kitchen ran out of chicken at 8pm. Waitress delivered extra meals then charged for them and couldn't get the orders correct. Food was mediocre and overpriced. Definitely needed more staff and someone that can properly run and stock the kitchen and bar. Sweet Cheeks show was fun.
