I stopped by for hot pot on my own a few days ago, and I was very pleased with my seafood hot pot. They brought it out boiling over a tabletop flame! The two shrimp I got were very large, the oyster and clam tasted fresh, and the mushrooms were yummy - I love that they used enoki mushrooms, my favorite. They gave a ton of beef too, I was plenty full even before I drank the broth at the end. It is a very small restaurant and I hope they get more customers soon ❣️

Awful food and service. We had a table of 7 on this Saturday. Was told they had no more rice. Took over 40 minutes to receive appetizers and food delivered out of order. Appetizers served after meal and overcooked. One member never received entree. The seafood soup tasted like ocean water no seasoning. The smallest spring rolls and overcooked beef sticks. The shrimp was so overcooked couldn’t peel shell. I’m attaching picture of burnt ribs. We were there at 5 pm

Easy to find and plenty of parking. food was bland, portion is really small, and price doesn't match portion of food. Not Recomended.

Delivered without broth, flavorless, 1 empty manilla clam, 1 flavorless mussel, no enoki mushrooms, despite asking for the spiciest available option it tastes like watered down maruchan shrimp Ramen :/

This is a new spot to go and try out for me. I really enjoyed the food. Last night I had gotten the seafood soup and it is Hella good but there was something different that caught me off guard. It was a whole shrimp!! That was some really good shrimp too.

I feel like the teen who served us was new to the job. Very chill atmosphere and music videos playing in the background. We had a great time it was just us and two other people in the place. Food was amazing!

Small little spot in a strip mall with killer food.
Food and presentation - The soups, ramens, noodles and desserts are killer. Curry is spot on. Food Presentation is super cool and makes dining here an experience and not just a meal. Comes out with a heated dish over a small fire, bubbling hot and ready to add your dry ramen. Again, experiential dining.
Atmosphere was “meh”. Super small 10-12 table dining area. Laminated menus with sharpie scratching out menu details….It was clean and cute, but I wasn’t transported to Asia.
Service - Have mercy on today’s youths work ethic and understanding of the “service” industry. I asked for water refills while the server was on her phone. Had to ask to get our table bussed as dessert was brought out…There obviously wasn’t room for the desserts because the aforementioned experiential dining experience cluttered the table. No check backs. I’m a ball buster on service for sure, but this server was wholly unaware.
Price - A bit spendy for soup….$100 for my wife and two kids. No drinks, but entrees and 3 desserts.

I could definitely see myself coming back here. Occupying the space formerly owned by Corea Blue, this soup shop offers a short menu but puts quality & focus into the dishes. Plan to spend a little more time than you might normally take to eat, as the soup comes out very hot with an open flame under it, and you will need time for it to cool down. They will also accommodate a range of tastes with their spiciness levels (the medium spice opened my sinuses right up).
Parking: The shared parking lot is centrally located to all the other businesses in the strip mall. Situated on DeBarr right by Beaver Pl with the two stoplights close together, so be aware of sort of a one-way flow in the parking lot.

Surprisingly good.
Hott Spott on DeBarr today was 9/10 for the delicious hot pot soups (I’m looking at you, red curry - yummmm), 1/10 for the completely oblivious and disinterested service. Despite being the only customers in the room, the entire time we were there, the two very young looking teenage girls were innaccurate with our orders, didn’t check on us at all (I had to ask several times for help with the hot pots themselves), and didn’t bother to refill our water glasses even when asked. They spent the entire time we were there behind the counter or sitting at a nearby table staring at their phones, never making eye contact or even seeming to remember we existed. ?
Atmosphere was clean but strange with super sexualized music videos (think Wreckingball) playing loudly on the dining area tv. I was with my own and a friend’s children and it got a bit awkward at times…
If I go again and see either of them “hosting” I will continue walking to My Shwarma House just down the sidewalk. Sad but true. I’m sure they’re nice girls but have literally no interest in serving customers.
