I have visited the shop three times. It’s not usual for me. I am from Taiwan. This summer again I had a chance to go to the shop again and people there kindly offered us some house may tea and it was surprisingly good so we bought many bags to take home. I would love to purchase more if all my tea is out and hope that they do provide overseas shipping.

very cute shop, with lots of Alaska-made items to shop from. best souvenir shop downtown, esp. if you are looking to avoid Alaska souvenirs made in china. i also was able to try their bakery. i really liked their birch old fashioned donut. however, would pass on their brownies in the future. lastly, unpopular opinion but i was not a fan of the taste of the samovar tea but it definitely was quality tea.

Came here several times during our trip, and it’ll be our first stop if we’re ever back in Anchorage - the old fashioned donuts are amazing!! Loved the Samovar tea as well. Super charming little cafe and gift shop, and the staff are kind and welcoming.

The store has a gift shop in the front and coffee shop in the back. The coffee was very good. There are an assortment of teas to choose in the shop and lots of little items to buy if you’re visiting. Sadly the person who makes donuts was away.

Fantastic place! We tried the cappuccino and it was amazing! Don’t leave the place without trying the old-fashioned donuts! You will never know what you missed otherwise ? we didn’t buy any merchandise/souvenirs, but on the first glance the superb quality was clearly distinguishable!
