I've really enjoyed hanging out with friends here. My biggest complaint is that it can be hard to hold a conversation when music is playing loudly right in my ears less than ten feet away; second biggest complaint is that it can be hard to find seating, but that's just because it's so popular.
There's not place in Anchorage like it. Great coffee and food, cafe atmosphere, books to browse and purchase, and quite often live music. There's even beer, wine, and cider.
It’s always fun to try new-to-us places! We stumbled upon this coffee shop and bookstore on the way to a nearby Japanese event and just had to try it! My sweet, thoughtful & giving sister gave me the gift of doing something fun for my birthday to treat myself and this is what I chose! I’m so glad that I did because it was a great experience. The person who took our order was pleasant, patient, helpful and kind. I had the chai tea latte with soy milk and it was so flavorful...
