Tasty burgers and now on southside!!!

I have traveled all over the lower 48 and Alaska and this is a hidden gem. The prices are more reasonable than many places in Anchorage and the surrounding area. The location is convenient with lots of parking. The dining/seating area is comfortable and the lighting makes it feel somewhat private. I got the big poppa burger for 18:00 with all the fixings and a side of fries. The best part of the experience for me was the Cajun seasoning. Most places think cayenne pepper means Cajun but they lack flavor. This was the perfect combination of flavor and heat. The burger was juicy and cooked to perfection. The fries were like fries we made at home in the it's and 90's. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates the above mentioned perks. This is one of two locations so it isn't that chain environment it's much more welcoming. Give them a try and I promise you won't be disappointed.

When we arrived at Tommy’s Burgers, there were only three couples seated in the dining area, and just one of those tables had food. Our group placed an order for five burgers and fries. Despite this, we waited 45 minutes before being served. During our wait, eight separate groups who ordered after us received their meals first. When our food was finally brought out after bringing the situation to the staff’s attention the burgers were cold and the fries were mushy. The dining area was dirty, and the staff spent much of their time sitting around rather than assisting customers. To make matters worse, the TV was so loud that carrying on a normal conversation was impossible. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this restaurant.

Yummy small burger place! Lovely little place💕

I went here after hearing good things about Tommy’s. Very expensive disappointment a whopping 5 shrimp on a 12 inch 19 dollar sandwich ended up throwing 30 dollars worth of fries away because they werent cooked at a high enough temp and were drenched in oil. Won’t be back

Best burgers in town. The cook definitely knows how to stack a burger. Staff are friendly and attentive. Very clean and big windows for maximum sunlight in some spots. A regular spot for sure.

Very slow service, they took 2 hrs to get our burgers on the grill then wanted them delivered close to 9 when we had guests. They were rude and provided no customer service, I will not be ordering again. Also they blamed door dash when they had not prepared it for the pick up, would not cancel order and neither would door dash. Manager is rude.

I was not rude and made the call in front of guests even, they also thought it was ridiculous we ordered food and recieved it two hours later. Im sorry they were busy I guess but they became a critical part of the evening when we ordered and were not informed we wouldn't get it till 9pm. I called to give them a chance to recoup then customer, they did not attempt any customer service

I'm not sure what happened here, all I know is we were told it would take 40 mins for our food we waited it's okay it was busy, but then the wait was one hour 10 mins later. I'm upset at this point as well as others. Then we received our food and to make it worse it was COLD. the buns cold and soggy, meat Luke warm. I paid good money for this at this point we were over it and I wanted to just leave. All I know is I will not be back.
