Food was very good, portions large (maybe able to share depending on appetite), service friendly, excellent and overall prompt. Good place to stop on your travels and “pig” out. :-)

Ate here to go, April 24th 2022. The Seward Hwy Hot Wheels weren't very good. Very spicy but no flavor. Not nearly as good as Texas Roadhouses' Snake bites. Their hamburger was good and fries, though they don't give you a lot of fries. The brunnette Lady Cashier was very attractive. Haha

The staff and atmosphere was great! However, I ordered the cheese burger and it was to salty! The person I was eating with allowed me to try her brisket and that was bland.

We sat in the drive thru for over 20 minutes before someone even came to the window to take our order. After the worker ginally took my order, it took another 20 minites to recieve the food. I was able to watch as one waitress handled everyone's orders during lunch time on a Saturday. It's obvious they need to have more staff during this time to manage the amount of customers. I do not believe it is the waitresses fault, but management for not scheduling their workers appropriately.

Great fast and friendly service gets the 4 stars. 3 stars for the small portion/price, and dry small ribs. Smokey beans ok but the potato salad was really good. The brisket taste good but was honestly closer to a brisket soup. Hoping for better when you spend $20+ for a plate.

We decided to try this based on some of the other reviews here, as well as some other platforms... (Yes, I realize there's nothing like Yelp...) and had hoped for something better. To be honest, I hate reviews like this, but it is what it is. The brisket was bland, like run of the mill roast beef. The chicken thighs were cooked well but not really all that smokey and didn't seem to be seasoned with anything either. The beans were OK. On a more positive note, they have a nice sauce selection that saved the day. Service was, while polite, very short. I think the lady just wanted to get back to her conversation with some folks at the bar. So much for Alaska BBQ... We'll stick to steak and fish next time we're around.

We ordered the crispy ribs, cup of chili, bore tide sandwich. This was a huge lunch! First the appetizer, the crispy ribs were fried and topped with a maple soy glaze and green onions. 3 or 4 ribs was delicious and cooked perfectly, the smoke was not overpowering and fall off the bone.We also had a cup of pit master chili. No beans, all meat and cooked fresh daily. These two items is plenty for a lunch. Then the bore tide sandwich showed up. Big sandwich, served with tasty slaw on the side. The bore tide has a plank of bacon on top of the pile of pulled pork. One of the popular picks and with the choices of sauces to go with that make a lunch fit for a king. Or queen. Definitely worth a stop by if you have the time. Plenty to choose from on their menu.

Crushed It! I love this place - gr8t service and very clean. I wish the BBQ sauces were a little thicker but other than that this is BBQ heaven!

My family is from the south and we have had a hard time finding a place that does bbq the way we like. This place comes pretty close and we usually visit every time we come to anchorage. Usually the service is as good as the food but that quality has gone down a little since covid

Amazing menu…and I LOVE Bar-B-Q!! Great service and…the Bar-B-Q is off-the-charts delish!!!! Generous portions. They have Deep-fried OKRA! “Green Popcorn”They also have Deep-fried dill pickles! They pair wonderfully with a juicy Alaskan Icy Bay IPA.Seriously, this is my new “Go-to” place. They have several sauces to select from! You can get creative and make your favorite, custom blend!

We dropped in here randomly on a Friday afternoon and were warmly greeted, seated and served very quickly. Chili, corn bread, and crispy ribs were phenomenal. The pulled pork sandwich (forget the name right now) was good too. Really nice selection of four homemade bbq sauces to choose from. Highly recommend!

Who would think that you could find some of the best barbecue in North America in Anchorage (or Indian, Ak) ? But you can. We've sampled barbecue all over the Lower 48 and both the Turnagain Arm locations are among our top 5 favorites.Brisket, chicken, or ribs.... all great!Whether the Anchorage or Indian Location... this place rocks!

Come in hungry! We were super impressed with the tender meat, the crispy breaded fried okra and the sweet corn bread! The beans have that nice smoky flavor and the wings...mmmmm!!! We'll be back soon!

The quality of the product has steadily gone down over the years. The meats are hit and miss but lately it's been mostly miss. You can really tell when a cook doesn't care and it's really showing with these guys. They have also removed a few favorites off the menu and won't sell bulk meat orders anymore which is absurd for any reputable bbq joint. If you like dry, overcooked bbq and sides that tastes like they have been sitting in a warming tray for days then this is definitely the spot for you.
