I love this library itself, but have a hard time finding someplace quiet to read. I come here twice per week to study, and find myself moving spots about every hour or so to search out a new quiet area. Let's bring back whispering while in the library!
A comfortable space to use
A great place to spend a day listening to gf
I love this library! It’s calm, quiet and there is so much space.
I had a great time playing videogames in there well maintained and cozy group rooms
Great place to study whether it be with a group or by yourself. Great place for resources for students (laptops, books, and people to help you find research for school papers). Near the library there are vending machines and a Kaladis Brother so you can definitely study while grabbing a bite or a drink.
I'm an undergrad at UAA and they charged me $786.00 for returning a tiny calculator late a few weeks late. Horrible and pretentious policies that only benefit the financially privileged!
I went to the front desk to, politely, ask for assistance. The lady working there started scolding me for absolutely no reason. She was freaking out, giving me a huge long lecture that I did not need to hear. I just stood there in shock. Even her coworkers were looking at her like she was going insane. Other than that old lady, everyone else has been nice :)
Best study spot ever
Wonderful resource for UAA students!

The architecture is gorgeous. There are so many resources and the staff is great.
No one was home.
I go there for exams and prepare for exams, discussions with classmates. convenient, comfortable and easy.
Great library
I am incredibly frustrated with this library. I am a student at UAA, taking online classes due to Covid. I use the library just about every weekday as it is the one spot on campus where I have access to wifi, but the hours are incredibly restrictive, and the student staff is at best indifferent, and at worst rude. During finals week, the library is only open for 12 hours a day, and only 10 hours on Friday. While I was taking my final on a friday, 20 minutes before the library even closed an employee was loudly knocking on the window of the room I was working in, rudely gesturing to me to vacate the room. Using this library for study and research has been the single worst part of my student experience at UAA. They need to either update their hours, or give students an option to decline to pay for and use library services
