We stopped in Anchorage on our way to Whittier to catch a cruise ship. Ate at Uncle Joe’s Pizzeria and wow!! Food was awesome! We had meatballs and a calzone and a beer. Fantastic!
Good pizza, they certainly do not skimp on toppings- they load it up! We got the supreme and bbq chicken. And I really like that they will do half and half of any specialty pizza … we got the house and the spinach salad and both were super fresh and had delicious homemade dressings. The wings were really meaty, fresh celery and blue cheese - presented beautifully too. Service was exceptional - they have a great team that takes great pride in serving delicious food. Very attententive...
My go too pizza place as an east coast transplant. Consistent, huge menu, fair pricing. This location does pizza by the slice, too. The shop is very small and usually PACKED so I rarely dine in. Any mistakes with my orders have always been taken seriously and addressed. The team members I've encountered are BUSY but engaged and kind.
