Terrible customer service, $70 for two dishes that were cold and dry. They burnt the spicy pork, and the beef and fried egg dish tasted like it was leftovers served. I'd give zero stars, but they don't cook with peanut oil so +1 I guess.

Korean VIP is definitely the best and most authentic Korean food in Anchorage. Those reviews which are complaining about service don't realize you are also getting an authentically non-American customer service experience :) In all seriousness, this place has killer stone pot bibimbap, lots of seafood, and more and higher quality banchan than I've seen at any other Korean place. (Other places serve maybe 5 or 6; I get 7-10 every time I go here.) I especially recommend the rice cakes with beef!

VIP is hands-down one of my favorite spots in Anchorage! When I want South Korean food, this is the only place I go.

I absolutely love this place—especially the hot pot, which is the best I’ve had in town. It’s also the only place I’ve found that serves proper banchan in Anchorage, which makes it even more special.

Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or dining with a big group, it’s a perfect fit. The food is consistently delicious, and there’s something extra satisfying about when the rice gets crispy on the bottom—so good!

Portions are generous too; I always leave with leftovers and I’m never mad about it. Can’t recommend it enough!

Literally the best place i have ever ordered door dash from. They were so generous, and the food was incredible.

Went in and not even greeted. Sat down and waited 15 minutes to order. No water no baverages. Waited 1 hour for food… customer service is extremely slow and rude. Had to ask for water and soda… I understand busy times and taks times to cook but vegetable rice doesn’t take 1 hour… then had to wait for check for 10 minutes again.. no thank you or anything? Werid restaurant. Food isn’t even that good…. Worst experience ever. Would never recommend.

I frequent this restaurant and am satisfied everytime! The last time we went my wife got the BBQ chicken and I got the #11 beef short ribs. The short ribs were maybe the best beef I have had in the state of Alaska. They were so tense and just fell off the bone with a small pull with the chip sticks. It was a very busy day and they do not have a large staff, so the service was a little bit slow but they were very nice and we had a wonderful dinner.

I have no clue about this restaurant. Maps indicated they were open but when we arrived, they were closed. Very disappointing. Other places have updated the hours based on the holidays but they didn't .

Delicious, I had never tried Korean food and now I'm hooked! Fun new flavors, lovely atmosphere ( the fish 🐟 tank is gorgeous ), the rea was great, highly recommend if you want to try something fun and new!

This is by far the best Korean spot in the area. The tteokbokki, crab stew, and galbitang were packed with flavor. Every single one of their banchan tasted great. My wife & I will come back again and again!

I went in today because it was a few blocks away. I was sat down, the lady gave me their tea with no menus. I waited, two tables got their orders taken and they arrived after I did. Maybe it was an off day? Maybe? Any recommendations for a replacement VIP?

The food is always Delicious, the side dishes give it a variety of choices that are excellent with the meal.

Food was always great, service is better this time for a while we stop dining in because the staff was very rude and not friendly at all. I ask them if they got a new owner, and they said the same owner, but new staff. I will dine in more often now. The new staff was very nice and friendly.
