VIP Restaurant

I went in today because it was a few blocks away. I was sat down, the lady gave me their tea with no menus. I waited, two tables got their orders taken and they arrived after I did. Maybe it was an off day? Maybe? Any recommendations for a replacement VIP?

The food is always Delicious, the side dishes give it a variety of choices that are excellent with the meal.

Food was always great, service is better this time for a while we stop dining in because the staff was very rude and not friendly at all. I ask them if they got a new owner, and they said the same owner, but new staff. I will dine in more often now. The new staff was very nice and friendly.

The Korean stews are my favorite! Always a great meal when I eat here.

Easily the worst service we’ve ever received at a restaurant. I don’t care how understaffed you are or how busy it is. There is not need to be rude, not welcome guests or say more than two words. We asked for a high chair and it was extremely dirty, we asked for a napkin and she threw it at our table. Everyone got tea when they came in except for us. We’re paying customers just like everyone else. I get food and costs are expensive but we’re not eating for free. It’s not hard to just be nice. Will never dine in again. The establishment is dirty and food is extremely mediocre. Korea Garden has better service and better portions. Never again.

Easily my favorite Korean food in Anchorage. The ban chan alone is two steps up from other places. Used to be even better but it’s still the best. The food is expertly prepared. People complain about the brisk service. I assumed it was a cultural thing. I think they have the hottest grill because their meat has that unmistakable sizzle and flavor. I love Korean food, the other places use the same ingredients but the food tastes boiled and mushy rather than charred.

Personally, I always had a great time eating here but since coming to visit Anchorage again recently, the customer service sucked. The waitress barely came around to check on us and refilled our tea. She refilled our tea when we finished eating already. The food gave me food poisoning afterwards. I came on a day where it wasn’t so busy so the wait wasn’t long. So disappointed in the customer service.

HIGH QUALITY. I am not the biggest fan of this food, but the wife is, so we gave it a shot.. I ordered the old fallback "Mongolian Beef." THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME I EVER GOT A FULL BOWL OF GOOD MEAT! There wasn't any gristle on that plate! I ate every last little morsel!

10/12- Many reviews warn that the service isn't the best. They're right. It isn't. The lady was arguing with two men when we walked in.In defense of the restaurant they have no help. Keep this in mind because we spent almost two hours.You walk in and they give you tea. We don't drink tea so we had to ask for water twice. The lady seemed upset.The food is delicious and worth the wait. Be patient and enjoy the flavor.The 4 ? on service is for acting like we were asking for too much. She gave all her customers dirty looks like it was never going to end. I hope she can get rest.
