Food is terrible. Currently paying over 400 dollars a month to wait in line for 30 minutes just for them to tell me they are all out of food.

Weather the food is overcooked or undercooked is a coin flip, objectively speaking its healthy and decent if you stay away from the fried crap, would be better if they had edible chicken breast to switch out with the fish once in a while, salad bar is good but that doesn’t give our fighting force protein to stay in shape. Up the meat game and this place would be great

This place is terrible!Food sucks and the workers all clearly hate their lives. Wouldn't bother eating here at all if they didn't take 400$ out of my paycheck for it....

Only gone once so far but I gotta say, Wilderness Inn is not only a LOT cheaper than the air force DFAC but also has way better (and more) options.
Only 7 bucks for a full tray of food? As opposed to like- 12 bucks just for a salad alone? Sign me up.
Good way to save on money while also still getting good food. Worth the extra drive if you're on AF side of JBER👍
Hoping the current renovation for the AF DFAC goes a similar route.
Just wish there were better signs for what each area serves and that the servers had an easier time hearing you over all the noise.

I look at my LES just to see that I’m paying 400 a month in meal deductions and I get burnt chicken. I’ve never tasted cancer but if I did this would be it.

Best chow hall in an Arctic Airborne unit! Chow is great! Themed Holiday meals are inviting. The people that work there and the leaders serving during Thanksgiving are so warm and welcoming. I’ll be coming back everyday until my access is gone.

One thing I miss the most about the military is the Chow-Hall , definitely!!! This one, is one of my favorites, though ... They feed you really good here... "Most" of the people are very friendly and very respectful... They also try exceptionally hard to keep it very clean, especially the Latrines... Thank you JBER for keeping up so well on this particular Chow-Hall, my wife and I always enjoy our time together here...
