The original gangsta wing place. Gotta get the nuke or go home. I got a 20 and 10 piece, with two drinks and 2 fries. I will say the wing flavors were spot on. The nuke is my favorite. I also got the habernero mango, buffalo, and teriyaki. Wow teriyaki was amazing. Others were just ok. I get mine crispy and saucy with ranch. Total bill $80.00 with tip. Now I would say clean up place. Only seating was at bar. The lady at front was nice but adamant about policies such as 3 percent cc charge and only 2 flavor split shown on menu she immediately pointed out. Seasoned fries crispy but yah disappointing. Nuke and teriyaki were great, others not so great. I actually ordered bbq instead of buffalo but didn't say anything and that's on me. The buffalo was just buffalo. And the habernero mango was garbage. Just tasted like salty vinegar. Noone else was in the restaurant. But it took a time to get wings maybe 20 to 25 minutes. I tipped, but they really didn't check on us, so I would say this is always a last choice to go now. If they correct some of these things such as making it more welcoming and have more tables open maybe they would be more busier. And cleaned up the place (clutter behind bar) added more lighting too. Nuke and teriyaki wings get a 5. Rest just mediocre. Not sure value was there. Oh I did ask for extra sauce they gave it on side for the wings.

Love this place. Not trynna blast you guys but I came from the valley for my favorite wings and garlic cheese roll. Wings were good but my cheese roll is soaked in chunks of garlic salt. I’d be happy with just a replacement order of my garlic cheese roll. I scraped off all the chunks of garlic salt in the pic.

Best wings in town in my opinion. They make their sauces in house. Wings are crispy and full of flavor. My favorite is lemon pepper and mango habenero. Great ambiance for dine as well two large tvs for the sports fans

This is a review off of a messed up order. I wanted to share that while they mess it up, the owner personally reached out to rectify the situation.
Always great food, and they run a tight shop!
10/10 will wing there again

Front counter person was very rude. Will not be back

Not properly staffed. Chef brings my order out because it has been sitting for a while and nobody had gone into the kitchen. Guy at the counter, sends it back and says he will get it. Proceeds to spend the next 10 minutes taking phone orders and micromanaging a guy at the front desk. I get cold food. Sub-optimal result

Unfortunately this is not going to be a great review.. I wanted to have high expectations going into this establishment feeling that this was going to be a good hole in the wall eats. I was let down.. I’d ordered the 20 piece new flavor” Caribbean dry rub and my wife ordered a half bbq and half spicy. We paid $68.00 dollars for this food.
I went in to biting my first wing thinking “dang, these are seasoned nicely, only to biting into what I could imagine was a salt block.. my wife’s spicy was super salty as well and bbq flavor was very off.. My daughter didn’t even want to eat. She ate the celery. I had literally rubbed off a half container of salt just from a few wings it seemed.. the ranch was good and the seasoned fries were slight, but those def even seemed frozen fresh. I don’t think I will be making that trip back for second experience. I hope for the best for that place, but it is def not for us. I would have taken more pics.. but I felt this was enough.

Spent a lot a money for dinner for 3 to go. Got home and Didn’t have the 10 piece wings we order. I live across town and they wouldn’t deliver my wings. Cashier also said that the owner is the only person who can do anything. The owner is suppose to call us in the morning. Meanwhile I don’t have my dinner. Can’t believe they don’t have a manger on a busy weeknight! That is not how you run a business!☹️

Ordered online. Got my Italian Sausage sub which had 3/4 bread, no cheese or jalapenos that I ordered and 1 patty put in middle so no meat on ends. Had to eat with a fork and knife as couldn't pick it up with so much grease on bottom. Wings that I ordered had so much grease in the bottom of container that it wasn't worth eating. Won't be ordering from these guys again.

**Review for Wings and Things**
⭐☆☆☆☆
I used to love Wings and Things when it was downtown Anchorage, it was always busy compare to the empty new location. Unfortunately, my recent visit left me feeling disappointed and frustrated at this place. It’s sad to see how far this once-great establishment has fallen.
First and foremost, the food simply doesn’t measure up to the fantastic flavors I remember. I ordered 20 wings, requesting them to be extra crispy, but what I received were saggy wings that completely missed the mark. The true kicker was when I brought up my previous experience, where the wings were dry due to a lack of sauce. I just wanted to make sure that this time they had the normal amount of sauce, but the cashier’s reaction was incredibly unprofessional. She got upset at my request and insisted that I would need to pay extra for additional sauce. I clarified that I was not asking for extra sauce; I just wanted adequate sauce this time around. At $34 for 20 wings, I expected better service—not to feel like I was a nuisance for simply expressing a concern.
To make matters worse, the lack of clear menu pricing added to the frustration. When I asked about menu items, the cashier rudely gestured to a blackboard instead of providing any assistance or information. This felt reminiscent of elementary school cafeteria days, but I certainly wasn’t expecting that treatment as a paying customer.
Overall, my experience at this location was disheartening. The wings lacked the vibrant flavors I once loved, the service was unhelpful and dismissive, and it seemed like there was a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. They had some tables with items for sell that had nothing to do with a wings place and just added to the dungeon look of the place. The bar looked more like an office full of paperwork, bills and more.
I sincerely hope that one day someone will open a wings place that understands both recipe quality and good customer service. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning to Wings and Things anytime soon.
