Worst place. Had attempted to dine in afew occasions & see that’s Always has an empty parking lot but still managed to be open. Afew people swear that it’s a mob front. Little to no English speaking servers & food has no flavor & extremely priced for hot plates like they pulled out of the oven & served it to you & get your hands burnt & staffing argue with you about the bill policy & get charged $90 + fees . This has happened before Covid & during the shutdown & since then. I wouldn’t miss it if shut down or burnt down.

Great place to go to get some food poisoning. We tried Yes Bistro in order to support an east Anchorage restaurant, never ever again. First time going and walked away with being sick as a dog. No thanks.

This place gets overlooked often in Anchorage, and I will say it's one of the better restaurants in ANC. It's a great option on the East side and worth the drive from anywhere in town. Lunch French dip was *perfect*, prefer the beer battered fries to the pub fries (quartered potatoes), but your mileage may vary, get your potatoes how you like them.

I've always enjoyed Yes Bistro since they first opened up. Their food is delicious and their customer service is wonderful. I enjoy both their brunch and dinner menus.

Just had brunch here, started with charcuterie prosciutto, crumbled blue cheese and fresh from fired oven, slice marg pizza..followed by eggs Benedict (the Hollandaise sauce rocked), fresh sliced prime rib, rare, charred and juicy! Service rocked, everybody was sincere, Definitely be back!

The Turkey Sandwich with Brie and bacon is by far the best sandwich I have had in Anchorage. Very impressed with the new Chef Elizabeth!

WOW is all I can say about the food! We came because a friend said the food was great but I was not expecting it be THAT good and it truly was! The place was empty besides us (family of 4) and another couple. The service was great, everyone was friendly and even interacted with our kids!! We had the Brussel sprouts for an appetizer and they were delicious, cooked just right with a nice balsamic glaze. Our kids had bbq chicken wings, so so so so good and the past with meat sauce which was a great portion size and had great flavor in the sauce. My husband had the coconut curry halibut and holy cow it was SO good, cooked well and the perfect amount of spice cut with the coconut milk, a great balance of flavors! I had the eggplant pasta with fresh mozzarella and the sauce was garlicky and fresh and the food came out piping hot with a delicious mini garlic bread loaf! I was told they have a full bar and that their brick oven for pizzas will be up and running soon! We will definitely be back but I highly recommend this place for any occasion, I'm sad it was so quiet but hopefully business picks up for them!

We hadn't dined here in nearly two years, and had had uneven experiences in the past. This lunch was outstanding, everything fresh, well-prepared, and the service was attentive. New manager and chef are focused on using top quality ingredients in a "tight" menu, executed well. They hit their mark - we'll definitely be back. An impromptu lunch, rewarded with original, well-prepared meals. Atmosphere great, service excellent.

I've been trying to come to Yes! For ages. It's nestled in a more residential part of Anchorage, an area that could use more restaurants! The food is upscale American fare with some European flourishes. My main issue is that they were out of half the menu, and even then, out of lots of things that make up the regular menu items. They were out of most, but not all, types of steak. They were out of most, but not all, types of potatoes. The fries another table got with their burger were completely different than the fries my girlfriend got with her burger. They menu had tons of manual modifications to it, they need to print new menus! The service was really friendly and accommodating, but it was not fast. We were one of only three tables and the food still took a very long time to come out. I got the crispy brussels with the steak bites, both were good, but the portions were a bit small. Most of the menu items are priced in the 20's and 30's. Give them a shot if you're in the area and looking for something new, just be patient and have multiple tiers of menu selections in your head...odds are good they will be out of something.

Checked out Yes Bistro last week for dinner. It was mid week, so not terribly busy. There was a sign on the door stated they were doing their best to keep things clean (re: Covid, I think). We were escorted to a booth and was handed a menu. It was a HUGE disappointment. First off, the menu had a number of items crossed off (in pen) due to they not having it to serve. Then some of the prices were changed (again in pen). And ... the back of the menu was FILTHY! ABSOLUTELY filthy with stains, smears and such. After checking out the menu with their very limited choices and some price hikes there were out of this world, ... we didn't see anything worth staying for and left. Can't say that we plan on ever returning again, ... it was THAT much of a disappointment.

Our server was Nadia(sp) and she was great. The food was excellent especially the seafood chowder. Stick with cup as it is plenty. Pizza was big! Definitely go back. Piano player was delightful.
