Every time we go snowmachinng in cantwell my friends and I stop here to eat on our way back into Fairbanks. The food is a lot better than typical bar food and the service is always great. Some of the best burgers I've had in the state are from here. Highly recommend the Zach and cheese burger.

Great food and RV camping! Very pet friendly camping. We were happy that they have all RV camping hookups such electrical, clean drinkable water and gray water hookups. Their prices are very affordable.

Nearby activities: So many hiking trails that are worth going to. Bison gulch is a mist if you can handle the 3500 feet of gained elevation over 6 miles.
Food & drinks: Tasted like an assortment of true homecooked meals. Loved the people here too they were awesome to be around, very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

We went to the bar and grill. It is a must try. The steaks are amazing!!! Garlic curds, addictive. Fried pickles ?. I think we mowed down our appetizers like we were starving!! Our steaks came, and good golly, they were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. Because we tried several different appetizers I could not finish my dinner. 2 days later the steak was still bomb as a reheated leftover?!? We'll definitely be back!!!

Even if you're not hungry, stop in!! The food here was, dollar for dollar, the best we've had from Girdwood to Delta. I've eaten steak at 5 Star Restaurants in Philadelphia and Jacksonville--nothing compares to the ribeye I had here. Perfectly seasoned, seared correctly and grilled to perfection right before my eyes. We stopped by 10 minutes before closing time on Christmas Eve and were treated kindly. Most restaurants in the lower 48 would groan if we walked in that late in the night but we were greeted likely family and tried a healthy array of menu items. Nothing was bad, beer was cold, locals were friendly--what more could you ask for?? Stop in and see this not-so-hidden gem.Food & drinks: Best steak in Alaska, worth every penny.

Amazing food, so good we went back the next day for dinner as well. Nice people, relaxing atmosphere. We loved the spicy chicken sandwich, zucchini fries, fried pickles, tots and spicy jalapeño burger. Wish we lived closer but if we ever travel through this area again, we'll be coming back!
