Clear Sky Lodge is one of those places that makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is warm and rustic, with that true Alaskan lodge feel. What really stood out to me was the filet—cooked to perfection right in the dining room. Watching it prepared added to the experience, and the flavor did not disappoint. Tender, juicy, and seasoned just right—it’s easily one of the best steaks I’ve had in Alaska.

Clear Sky is a great little place in the middle of nowhere. Between Clear SFS and Healy on Parks Highway. Can't speak to the lodge part but the Bar and Grill is worth the stop. Good food and great selections of beer. The interior of the place is a rustic log cabin and the kitchen is in plain view. I've eaten there half a dozen times and have never been disappointed. The steak sandwich is fantastic as are the burgers. Also, they do nice job in their salad bar.

Every time we go snowmachinng in cantwell my friends and I stop here to eat on our way back into Fairbanks. The food is a lot better than typical bar food and the service is always great. Some of the best burgers I've had in the state are from here. Highly recommend the Zach and cheese burger.
