Great halibut and chowder in Ketchikan for the price point no restaurant can compete. Just all around legit good best I’ve had here in 12 years and no sit down can compete.

Big hearty pieces of fish. Tater tots are yummy. They were out of chowder ?. The side of slaw is SUPER TINY! It’s good but that size was kind of a bummer.

This place is delish!! After it was recommended to us, we had to try it. So glad we did. The sandwich was phenomenal!! Fried shrimp is to die for. I’ve never had clam chowder, but after trying this I want it again and again. Good prices and friendly service!

Best HALIBUT and “mom’s” clam chowder ever! Off the beaten path in a Safeway parking lot, but so worth it! The only thing I’d change would be more seating and maybe a fresh coat of paint on the picnic table!!

The best food we had for our three day trip to Ketchikan! The cod sandwich and chowder were off the charts. Owners and staff were very personable. Will definitely head there again on our next trip.

Halibut is good. Lightly battered. Could have drained a bit better as it was still very soaked in peanut oil. Better after letting set on a few napkins for a minute to absorb some extra oil. Chowder had plenty of ingredients, and size was appropriate. I usually prefer a slightly creamier chowder though, would probably consider adding a small amount of heavy cream to improve. Seating is a dirty picnic table outside the building. Maybe they could setup a temporary fencing, or perhaps it isn't allowed in that spot. Overall a good place with some minor improvements could be excellent.

An absolute must have while in Ketchikan. Just a short walk from the cruise docks. The chowder is so fresh and not too heavy. The halibut was some of the best we’ve had throughout Alaska.

Best fried oysters I've ever had! They were crispy and juicy, with no trace of fishiness whatsoever. They were sold out of clam chowder by the time we got there, but it'll definitely be next on our bucket list!

We just happen to come upon this place in the Safeway parking lot after we walked there from our cruise ship. Didn't read any reviews or knew what to expect. My wife said it was the best fried fish she's had and I agree with her. Waiting for our food, we noticed a lot of locals picking food up from here so we knew it was the spot. While eating we also met others from the our ship and they said the tour guide that they were on that morning recommended it. Glad we stopped by and highly recommend. We got the fried halibut and onion rings are both were excellent. Portion size was good and priced fairly. Grabbed a beer from the liquor store to wash it down. We also saw bald eagles flying around.

This hidden gem along the waterfront is a must visit if you enjoy traditional fish and chips and clam chowder. We had the chowder meal on our first visit and chose onion rings as the side instead of fries. The o- rings were some of the best I’ve ever had!

Outdoor dining is available on a picnic table or you can order takeaway.

My second visit was for takeaway on the way to the airport. I had the cod, fish & chips. Again, the freshly made food was delicious. I enjoyed eating it while awaiting the ferry.

In a town with extremely high prices for food, you’ll find not only some of the best food here, but reasonable prices as well.
