The view of Matanuska Glacier from the dining room windows is unforgettable. That's why I always try to get a seat in the dining room overlooking the glacier. The staff was friendly. Great �! Thanks
Multiple orders were messed up. Food came out cold….or burnt. Service was terrible. We had to repeatedly get up from our seats and request drink refills….it still took 10-15 min. Stuck us with 20% gratuity because the size of our group. Rip off. Avoid like the plague

Great food, and friendly and helpful staff!
We had Blueberry salmon fish tacos, and chicken strips and fries. Best fish tacos i have ever had, was warned the tacos had some spice, being from AZ wasnt worried, but they were actually pretty spicy! French fries, and chicken strips were perfectly crisp!
Highly recommend stopping in if you can!!

Long Rifle Lodge offers great food with outstanding views, although it can be cold inside. Located near Matanuska Glacier, it is worth the drive for delicious meals like the Glacier burger and salmon sandwich. Both breakfast options are delicious, and a fantastic cinnamon roll is also available to go. The seasoning is perfect, vegetables are fresh, and fries are long and crispy. The new management has elevated the food quality to match the stunning glacier view. Guests appreciate the friendly and quick service, making it a highly recommended spot for a satisfying meal after exploring the glacier or enjoying nearby activities like glacier tours and hikes. The lodge features a great balcony with nice mountain views, enhancing the overall experience. While the food is good and the serving sizes are satisfying, some customers have mentioned issues with the water quality.
