This place is a true gem located on the picturesque Halibut Cove. The Saltry offers a surprisingly sophisticated menu for an unassuming place. The seafood was fresh and the views were breathtaking. All the staff were very nice and accommodating. Our waitress Allison or Alyssa (I'm so sorry I can't remember) was beyond superb. Expensive but worth it. Such a lovely experience.
Beautiful Dinners! Remote access only by boat, ferry or float plane. Gorgeous artistic setting. The seafood is always perfect. friendly service. Private boats welcome at 7pm seating gives us a great memorable destination dinner for visiting friends who call it a Top Highlight of their Trip!
Overall it was a great experience. The boat ride is slow, but I think that's intentional bc 1. People aren't wearing clothes that can get wet bc they're going to dinner and 2. They need to plan for rough weather, so if you get a nice day they still need to leave / get there at the same time. The food was very good, but I will agree with the comments that said the portions are small. We could've eaten double our entrees and they didn't come with some sort...
