We went on September 25 then September 26 and 27. We have been there 3 times and it was always closed so maybe update
This would avoid unnecessary travel and frustration.

Had the Mt. Magnificent bacon cheeseburger along with approximately 10 fries. Was not impressed. Overpriced for what I got. Hamburger was super dry when I asked for medium. Waitress never came around after order was taken to ask how the meal was or if needed anything like ketchup for my fries. Although she did ask if I wanted to try their dipping sauce. I guess that was supposed to take the place of ketchup. Which they charge for which she did not tell me there was a charge for the sauce as well as a service charge on top of that. She did bring the check. All she was to me was an order taker. The parking lot is in much need of attention. It’s full of major potholes. Very disappointed at this establishment.

Parking: Watch out for potholes. Lots of them

Good vibe, warm service and great food. The 49th state brewing Denali park can be the perfect option after a long day tour.
I love the jalapeño bacon wrapped appetizer and fried calamari. The pretzel is stunning, match the seafood chowder perfectly.
All the burgers and tacos are amazing.

There are many people in the comments raving about the crab grilled cheese sandwich: if you like fake crab, by all means, enjoy, but if you know fake crab when you taste it, BEWARE! I asked the waitress before ordering if it was real Alaskan crab because the price point ($22ish I think) seemed low and she assured me it was, so I ordered it. A single bite screamed fake crab (pollock fish) and when she came by, I asked again and she again assured me it was, so I smiled, said thank you, and ate it. I am an ex-waitress who hates to do anything annoying to service staff, so that was the absolute limit of what I was going to do; I would never talk to a manager or anything over something like this.
But the next day I ended up talking to someone who had worked there for years and they said that while there is some real crab in the sandwich, it's a mixture of things, largely imitation crab. Vindicated! I think it's inexcusable to label things that way, but even moreso to assure people who specifically ask, that it's real crab when it's a mixture.
The atmosphere was great as we sat by the fire, and there is a video on loop of Alaskan wildlife, which was enjoyable for us as tourists. The beer and drink selection was also good. But I wouldn't take my business there again, I prefer honest businesses.

Great place, about 15 mins from Denali National Park Visitor center. The Yak and Elk burger were excellent. Just that the yak burger has an overload of onions, pickles and cheese that they all overpower the taste from the meat. I would order those extras as side order to enjoy the yak meat. Great selection of beers, great ambience and courteous staff:

Do not eat here if you care what your food tastes like. I ordered the yak burger. Anica, our server, got our order right, but the cooks did not. I ordered the burger medium rare, without onions, mustard, & lettuce. It came with onions, so Anica apologized & sent it back. When she brought it back out, I tried to take a bite, but it wasn't medium rare - it was charcoal!! When I pointed it out to Anica, she said NOTHING! There was no "I'm sorry" or "let me take it back" or "how can I fix it." NOTHING. This was a $30 inedible burger. We did not complain after Anica took off. So we "tapped out," paid, gave her a $0.01 tip, and left. We won't be back. It was an awful experience. Now, don't get me wrong - I never withhold a tip from anyone (usually tip 20% if mediocre or much more for really good service), but this was so egregious, I didn't feel like there was any other choice, since they clearly didn't care about the issue & felt like they could charge an outrageous price for a disgusting meal. Not on my watch!

we came on a holiday (labor day). had an understandable wait for a table for 3. we sat outside for the wait. after about 30/40mins waiting we received the text for our table. once seated we ordered 2 house made sodas and 2 cauliflower appetizers. the cauliflower was excellent and the soda was just average. i wish our meal ended here but we did order entrees which took an incredibly long time to arrive, despite the burger being almost raw and the mac and cheese skillet, which came after the other two entrees, being a little warmer than room temperature and TASTELESS. the flatbread with the pesto and sundried tomatoes was pretty good, they make their own dough which you could taste. my friend with the mac and cheese was splitting her entree with me as we both wanted the flatbread and the mac and cheese. the mac and cheese was bad. very bad it tasted like velvetta but with even less of a cheese taste. it was truly tasteless, the only bit that was good was the top part with the parmesan bread crumbs which was gone quickly. we would have asked for a manager if it weren’t already 9pm as we had already waited for the table then waited for the food. the server was nice and understanding and of course it was not his fault, hopefully just a bad night? but we would not recommend to anyone.

Vegetarian options: cauliflower, flatbreads, veggie burger, veggie bowl, salad.

Mashed potatoes were too salty. Food was simply put on the table, without much attention on who the dishes were served to.

Nice big place- large outdoor area for entertainment & fire pit area. Sat at bar, good service, plenty of menu options. Crabmeat jalapeño poppers were good but spicy. Fries were excellent & smoked chicken wings very tasty. Watch out for large potholes in parking area!!
