So, after waiting until the end of the Denali season, I finally tried this place. I walk by it almost every day on the way to the post office. My last day off, and I got a post office box key deposit refund, so I thought, why not? I ordered the Pork Pad Thai off of a very full menu of amazing choices. It says take out, but they have plenty of seating inside and outside on the deck with a beautiful view of Mount Healy. The portion was very generous. It was hot and tasted so fresh....
The owner is so nice, I left my wallet when I had dinner yesterday, and I am in rush to catch the flight and come really early in the morning way before the restaurant opens and hope to get the wallet, the owner comes right away to unlock the door and give it back to me. The owner is a so nice person!
Travelers through, amazing curry. Perfect spicing and flavor. Big chunks of vegetables. Perfect Thai rice. I cannot recommend this highly enough. There are a few tables both inside and outside. Ambiance doesn't exist, it's about the food. One of us is vegan and they had no trouble.
Vegetarian options: Ask for dishes with tofu or no protein option. Communication is limited, they are really Thai, so don't try to modify in any complicated way.
