When in Hoonah, AK what does a Texan do? Order a Halibut Taco from a Texas food truck!! The ordering is done via computer which was a bit confusing and did not allow to ask questions or for recommendations. I wanted my taco without sauce and thought I ordered it that way but it came with sauce on it. It still was tasty but I’m not a mayo fan and think I would have enjoyed it more without.

Love the Halibut Tacos with the various house made sauces. Love Smash Burgers and the hand cut fries! Worth the short walk into town! The free WiFi for customers is great since cell service can be spotty in the area. A don’t miss when in Hoonah!

We had brisket tacos and fries with brisket and queso. The food was very good - a true taste of Texas. The brisket was flavorful and tender. Highly recommend!!

Such wickedly good tacos. And stupidly yummy chips. After a few days of cruise food, this was fresh and zesty and real. Fresh fish. And a lovely chat. Come and order halibut tacos and chips, well worth a little foray off the usual path.
