The pulled pork and brisket i had today was top notch! Not overly smokey and so deliciously tender...🤤. the BBQ sauce was such a burst of zing and a tiny spicy. it was a 10 out of 10🤤. GLUTEN FREE might I add! I felt comfortable and safe to eat knowing I wasnt going to be 'glutened', if you will. The owners are pretty incredible to boot! Very content in my experience and will definitely be a return comfortable :)

I have tried 5 other BBQ trucks since moving to Alaska and they were all garbage, so I gave up on BBQ all together. I am So so upset that it took me 10 years to try Patriot after my bad experiences because patriot is amazing like southern BBQ amazing! 10/10 You have to try it.

Stopped by today for a brisket sandwich. This food truck is legitimate. As a native Texan from Austin, I’m very critical of brisket. First look, the smoke ring around the meat was a good sign and a nicely charred exterior meant proper smoking. Taste and texture wise the meat had moisture, plenty of fat (for brisket this is needed for flavor, texture, and retaining moisture), and a great dry rub. Great contrast of flavor and chew between the charred exterior and flaky, moist interior fat / meat. There wasn’t a need for BBQ sauce but I ordered the spicy to try it anyway, it was excellent. Best brisket I’ve had in Alaska hands down. I hope it’s this good on the return meal I’ll be purchasing in the not too distant future.

Tried Patriot BBQ for the first time at the Willow Farmer’s Market and we are VERY impressed. Had the brisket plate with beans and coleslaw and husband had the same with Mac and cheese and coleslaw. Everything was great and the baked beans were uniquely delicious. Price was reasonable. We will be back!

I am originally from the East Tennessee and have been searching high and low for a good pulled pork sandwich. I am so happy to say that I found it! The pork itself was flavorful and seasoned so well! It truly did not even need barbecue sauce but their homemade barbecue sauce was to die for! It was such a nice taste of home. I will definitely be back!!
