This is my favorite pit stop on the entire Alaska road system. The oysters are unbelievably unique and delicious. Really, all the food is top-notch. If you're driving past, don't think, just stop. You won't regret it.
For many years, I drove by this hidden gem and had no idea what I was missing out on. Now, it is THE place to go when we want oysters or Thai. All of the oysters are sensational, but the Tom Yum is my personal favorite. I have yet to try the whole menu, but the Cassie Stir Fry is one of my favorite entrees. Also, you MUST have the basque cheesecake! It is heavenly.
By far the best Thai food I've ever had in my life. My friend says it's the best Thai food he's ever had, and he's been to Thailand many times. The dumplings were obviously made fresh that day and not frozen. The sauces were incredibly intelligent and artistic and perfectly balanced. Obviously the chef has an exquisite palate and the highest standards possible for her food. We sat outside in the sunshine and looked at the view. What a magnificent day that...
