I just discovered the Burger Bus this past weekend. If I had just passed this place, I probably would have never stopped. However, I stopped on the advice of a friend. What a great stop. The burgers and fries were fantastic. There is only outdoor seating so I imagine in the winter you order at the covered window and head for your heated car to wait. I will definitely be back.

Ended up stopping here when we were in the area. It's a cool old bus turned into sort of a stationary food truck kind of concept. Our group got a mix of burgers and fish and chips. In all honesty, it was all pretty typical and nothing to write home about. My fish and chips were as remarkable as the ones I get out of the freezer section of the grocery store. While the food was average, at best, the prices definitely reflected that, and this was one of the cheapest meals we had the week we spent in Alaska. It was an experience, for sure, but I can't say I'd drive out of my way for either the food or the experience. The service was very friendly.

A burger that stands out and stands up and over any other burger on the Kenai Peninsula. It is an old bus converted into a covered walk up and order window. The best burgers in Kenai for years. The menu is posted in several places and make sure to look at given their range of options. I usually get the basic burger and ask for dill pickles instead of their sweet ones. The first bite was a revelation with a flavorful juicy patty on a bun that held up until I finished. There are 2 different hamburger sizes. The basic comes with a burger and fries. I know there are chicken options, fish, halibut, and chicken strips. One can add several items to your burger or sandwich. Basic sandwiches are available such as ham and cheese or grilled cheese. There is often a line unless one arrives at opening or just before opening at 11. It is only outdoor seating at some picnic tables. The burger is deliciously juicy, so get some extra napkins.
Good: The burgers were really good. Their prices are very fair. The service was fairly quick. Bad: The fries were over-cooked and there was a hair in my husband’s burger.
