Ordered an Italian Panini. $16.75 and the pictures are on the screen for you to see it was very, very small one piece of meat. Extremely tough couldn’t eat it. Very dissatisfied.

A small coffee and sandwich stand inside the hardware store. One of the best cups of coffee we've ever had, and their biscuits and gravy and paninis were pretty stellar as well. They sell some branded merchandise and it's cute and well priced.

Big surprise! I had no idea Nikiski had such a great lunch counter. It’s inside a hardware store and both the store and the restaurant are incredibly upscale for the North Road. Had the bacon, parm and chicken panini. Delicious! The tomato basil soup was a little bland and could have used a little more salt and a pinch of sugar to bring out the flavors. A pat of butter would be great too. We got our food to go and they filled the soup cups too full (slightly overflowing and a scalding mess) and the crispiness of the panini was destroyed because they trapped the steam in aluminum foil. It was delicious but very soggy even tho we parked and ate 5 minutes away. Overall a great place and I will make it a point to drive up there again to eat more of their food. A solid five stars, despite my quibbles with the to-go packaging. It’s popular and tiny, maybe 3? tables.

Such an adorable shop. They get my order perfect every single time. The Chicken Bacon Ranch is absolutely amazing
Kid-friendliness: It’s a very family friendly shop. I’m pretty sure it’s Christian run.

Old Goat Cafe is delicious. I hope you come to Nikiski and try it. There is sit down and drive thru. My favorite soup is bacon cheese burger. Yum!

Delicious food and friendly staff. The brownies are the best I've ever tasted! Make sure you get a giant cookie or 2 while you're there!
First time visiting the Olde Goat Cafe. What a gem! A great find with many great things. Their nook in the corner of Nikiski Hardware is very aesthetically pleasing! Between the reclaimed wood walls and industrial farmhouse theme it is so cute. We had bacon breakfast sandwiches on sourdough and they were delicious. Also got two lattes that were aerated perfectly and the shots rich. The Barista was super friendly and had excellent customer service. Very cheerful and pleasant. We will definitely be making this stop a regular occurrence!

My favorite place for coffee and lunch in the area! A little out of the way if you're downtown Kenai, but worth the trip. Food is made to order. Try the cinnamon and vanilla latte. Is inside another business so seating is very limited. No internet, but cozy place to spend a while if you've got a mobile hotspot.
