Absolutely phenomenal, these people know how to cook. Theres not a restauraunt in this state that serves better food than this place, and the waitresses are all very friendly. Most restauraunts around here serve food that you couldve just made at home, but this place is well worth the price tag!

The Flats Bistro has filled a void in Kenai’s dining scene since the day they arrived. They offer what we were missing: a classy, low-key sit-down restaurant that’s perfect for date nights, celebrations, or simply treating yourself to a great meal in a relaxed atmosphere.
The food is consistently impressive. I highly recommend the jalapeño-stuffed pork loin—it’s a standout dish packed with flavor. And if you ever spot the crispy pork belly roll on the menu, do yourself a favor and order it before it’s gone.
The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance of elegant and casual, making it easy to feel comfortable whether you’re dressed up or keeping it simple. Their drink selection is excellent, and the wait staff really knows their stuff—especially when it comes to pairing meals with the right wine.

Wonderful place! We were in town for the Kenai River Marathon and a local recommended this place and another restaurant. Cute interior with nice arts. There was a back deck that in the summertime would be very nice to sit that was closed for the season. They were able to fit us in late Saturday's evening. It was super crowded even though we came toward closing time. The oysters are tasty with a very mild flavor. The jalapeno sauce they come with is awesome. I had the Alaskan Spicy Gumbo; it was okay. The Spice was there but i felt something missing and the rice was a little dry. The husband enjoyed his cheeseburger. The fish and chips on kids menu was huge and fresh. Service was a little slow but they were busy. Would recommend and will come back.

We called in on short notice to make a reservation for a party of six. No problem. The food was great (as expected). We had everything from hamburger to halibut. Claudia, our server, was up to her usual greatness.

Amazing Rib-Eye steaks, great Filet, the Snapper was very good... The wine list is rather impressive... The beer choice is also outstanding, if they r out of what u choose for local brew they can recommend another choice... The appetizers were pretty great as well... Definitely a high priced dinner, but was very good.

Pasta sauce was separated and oily ok bread could not finish. Fish and chips very bland and as a true Alaskan who make beer batter with corn meal. Baked chicken was mushy and the garlic potatoes had so much parm in it I could taste nothing else. Pork chop nothing special a little tough. We waited 40 minutes for a metal outside table with a tablecloth tossed over it in the inside dining room. Took an hour and a half for the food and hour to get a refill of tea. We have been here several times hoping it would get better but too no avail it has not.
