From the moment I walked up, I got a sense of ordering was an inconvenience to an older gentleman with glasses. Can’t say if he’s a nice guy or not, but wasn’t a very pleasant experience from the very first time being here, ever. Upon my interaction with this person, I greeted them with standard pleasant trees, and normal ordering. Perhaps he was in a bad mood.
The overall ordering experience was a bit odd as well. Not bad, but not great. Just felt unwelcome. I hope the owner can take this critical feedback well. Overall the place is really cool. Well talked about with our company and always look forward to stopping here one day. However, due to my initial experience, I’m hesitant to tell other people or return, that said. He was polite to bring our food out and seemed fairly nice in the end.

Food was solid, everything we ordered we were happy with. If you get the sweet potato fries order some extra sauce. Got chocolate milkshake, cheeseburger, AJ Burger, fried chicken burger, lemonade, and iced tea.
Eating benches were a bit worn but fit the atmosphere. The road was being worked but once that's finished it will be a lot nicer entry.

Great place for a burger, food was really good. I had the fried chicken burger and loved the sauce on it. Fries were nice and crispy and well seasoned. I was told I need to try the shakes, next time I will.
We sat out side and watched the cruises ships and float planes go by.

Aw yeah! First and foremost, amazing food with great portions for a fair price! As an out of towner, hours in Ketchikan are awful and unreliable. BUT NOT HERE! AJ’s has convenient hours and fantastic ?burgers, milkshakes are just as good. No indoor seating like the pictures show though but there are picnic tables outside you can use.

Family owned! Great people & service. The food is cooked by order so it’s fresh every time. Most definitely a go to burger spot! Homemade sauces! I love everything about this place.
