Small space but really cool nautical decor and merch. Very close and walkable from the more touristy shops in the area.

Their IPA is soooooo good! The sitting area is super small, I would've stayed longer if it was larger. It was busy for a Tuesday morning and that's a good sign. Wish I could've stayed longer

While gallivanting through the town and creek in Ketchikan, I found this lovely micro brewery that sells a variety of specialty type ale / IPA beers. While I'm more of a lagar type feller, the friendly bartender lady recommended me "Shut up Donna!" (No pun intended and no kidding; it's the name of the beer). It tastes similar to IPA but not as strong in terms of bitterness. They also have a clean 1 stall restroom for it's customers and their own micro brewery that you can view. If you're not looking for the mainstream bars that are a dime a dozen around town, the ambience and beer at Bawden's would be a place to stopover!

A Ketchikan must! Great beer and phenomenal service. We asked the owner where we could buy baby formula (here on a cruise) and he sent someone to the store for us! He even tried to resist payment. We will never forget the local proprietor who helped us with our baby. Thank you!!

Awesome microbrewery away from the maddening crowd. The brewers are fantastic and really great t-shirts. Get the souvenir and a beer here and skip the big box retailers right off the ship. Awesome beers with a great variance of abv! Mach 7 for the win.
The staff was kind, but the place is too small and does not accommodate more then about 10. Along with that, I've never had a brewery where I did not love at-least one beer out of two flights. I think they need to rework their brew recipe before would ever go back

Very cool atmosphere, great customer service. I wasn't a huge fan of the beer but to each their own. I like more IPA style which they didn't have on tap. Would give it another try next time for sure!
